A special Mother's Day
For my step-mother
Happiness is watching you & my dad grow
You’re not just a mother you’re a friend
Who's good will hearted goes to show
Not many of those like you that would give in
You’re always honest & very sincere
Because I know you present it from within
Your care & strengths grows nearer
I'd like to say that's where it all begins
Being part of the family you mean so much
It's in my heart because of your courage no doubt
Consideration you show makes me feel touched
One of those things inevitably, I like to shout
Of all the mothers I've come to known
I may call to say hello or maybe stop by
It's your ways that you have shown
Sometimes I know I don't need a reply
You gave the biggest love for the part
I feel happiness inside my sole will pass
For this I know my family has a big heart
Love & patience will make memories last
