A Soul's Passage

Quite dark
A forsaken life
Bounded away
From the tips
Of my reach
I grasp again
For the touch
Of familiar sadness
Forlorn darkness
Strips my flesh
Only naked bones
Remain of me
Death’s joy
Pierces skin
A hovel inside
Of malice and pain
Death, for me
Is a road more
Traveled than most
