Annie thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked it! Here is the epilogue! I hope you like it just as much. Yes, I do have more stories. I wrote Could He Be The One, and am now working on Little Secrets. I am still a new author, so that is all I have, but I plan to keep on writing. I hope you will read them all. Thank you so much!!

SEVEN YEARS LATER
(Amy and Jade are now 25)

I looked up from the computer where I was emailing my dad. My five-year old twins were standing next to me. "Mommy I'm hungry." Crystal said just as her stomach growled. Her brown hair was coming out of the french braid I had done this morning. I looked at the clock. It was already six.
"Okay sweetie. I'll go cook some macaroni and cheese. Maybe we'll have hot dogs too." I said, standing up. I put water into two pots and put it on the stove. "Why don't you play with your blocks until dinner?"

"Mama, when's daddy coming home?" Ruby asked as I walked back to the computer. Her hair was still the same. In the two pigtails she loved to wear, the two blue ribbons still perfectly tied. I smiled and inwardly laughed at how different my kids were. Crystal was much more of a tom boy, climbing trees, playing rough. She was always hungry too. Ruby was quieter, always playing carefully, watching Ruby climb the trees, but never climbing them herself, eating less than Crystal, but enough so that I didn't worry about her.

"I don't know sweetie. I don't know." I sighed, looking back to the email I was typing. I re-read it.
Hey dad,
I'm okay. Just stressed. Jade's at work so much. I hardly ever get to see him, and when I do we fight. I feel awful. I'm not sure what to do. I don't want the girls to hear us fighting. He left for work early this morning, and isn't home yet.

I deleted it and started over, not wanting to make dad worry.
Hey dad,
I'm fine. Just missing you, Owen and Evan. When Owen gets back from his honeymoon we should have a family reunion. I'm sure Ruby and Crystal would love to see you.
I love you.
Love Amy

I heard the door open and Jade walked in. "Daddy!" The girls said, rushing over to hug him. I stayed where I was and sent the email. "Girls, why don't you go play in the playroom for a little while. I gotta talk to mommy."
They agreed and skipped off. "Amy," Jade said, walking over to me. "I've been miserable all day. I feel so awful for the way we've been fighting. I just get so stressed out from work. So, I quit."

"You what?" I stood up, almost angrily. "Well how are you going to make money if you don't have a job? Jade, we decided I should be a stay at home mom, and that you would work."
"Amy listen... please..." He waited until my rant was over before he finished. "I got a new job. A better one. I work fewer hours and will be home more, but I make more money than before. We're going to be better off. Will you forgive me for arguing with you and making you feel awful?" He asked.

I nodded. "Of course! I love you Jade! I always will, no matter what."
"And no matter what, I'll always love you. And the girls."
"And the girls." I agreed. I kissed him. Thinking, once again, how much he was like a shining stone in my life. How I felt dark without him. I smiled, kissing him again. "I love you Jade. I love you."
