The brother sighed and rolled his shoulders trying to relax. His feet dangled over the edge of the building and he leaned back his face towards the sun. She was stunning he thought to himself. Her wings were a brilliant blood red showing her dark side. He mentally went through the abilities she possessed.

Beauty from the fae, Regeneration from the Vamps, speed from the Werewolves. Also night vision, control of the sinister and light powers. She was a combination of everything. She was an everlasting light that had shone for decades. A powerful angel that would bring vengeance to the sinners. Would she bring vengeance on him?

The one who was ordered to eradicate her for the last time. The one who was ordered to end something that was meant to save mankind along with every other creature. Living and dead. Human being or non-human. What was he supposed to do? He was smitten with the lovely creature he had just seen. How was he supposed to kill her? He stood up and looked over the rim of the building. Even if he did fall and die. They would bring him back and make him try again. He had killed her so many times before. How was he supposed to do it now? Before the sinister powers had driven her insane and intoxicated with power she destroyed the world. Now though…. She was different. He could sense the unsteady balance she was maintaining.

He cursed her a thousand times. He loved her and yet he was the one who kill her. He was given the power to slay her. He was cursed. To be able to love only one and be the down fall of that one love.

He was interrupted by the steady footsteps behind him. The brothers have been calling you Nathaniel. Come back to us. We must talk about her.

Nathaniel straightened his back and turned around slightly inclining his head. Will do drako.

The brother glared at him. Do not call me that. You know how I despise the name.

Nathaniel shouldered past him. Exactly why I use it drako. He smiled to himself as he felt the brother glare at him.
