A Quarter to Life

From half past dead to a quarter to life.
The sweetest curve on my face is ever there,
I asked happiness to come,
Displace my emptiness, bitterness and loneliness,
Hoping I could be a quarter to life,
I am glad the sun shined again,
It took one morning of sunshine to erase all the rainy nights.

Will the sun shine tomorrow, .... it rained,
Yes, it was a thunderstorm for a fortnight,
But the sun shone away the rain.

That call, our first outing rose, the light in me again,
My dreams and insecurities were washed away,
That was when I tied the knot with the sun,
Thy hand want thy heart to open,
I want to trust and believe in you,
A part of me still holds back,
Can you blame thoust for thy.

Will the sun shine tomorrow, .... it rained,
Yes, it was a thunderstorm for a fortnight,
But the sun shone away the rain.

How do thy know if it is now love and not infatuation?
Am I ready to give all of me?
Do I really want to make a book with you?
Should we tell the story that's in it?
Will the sun shine the rain away always?
Will I ever want the rain to come wash away my tears again?
It's the bitterness I tasted than made me notice the sweetness in you.

Will the sun shine tomorrow, .... it rained,
Yes, it was a thunderstorm for a fortnight,
But the sun shone away the rain.

I want to see tomorrow again,
Whether it rains or the sun comes out,
I will be okay,
The journey is worth the steps,
I have believed in one being one,
Thou is thy one.

It is a sunny day,
Yes, it was a thunderstorm for a fortnight,
But the sun shone away the rain.
How do you rate the poem?
