A Plan For Creating An Authority Blog for Under $200.00

So you think that just because you're not in some special "Inner Circle" or you don't have $2,000 for the latest Instant Riches Product or $5,000 for Specialized Marketing Mentoring that you will be facing an uphill battle. The truth is not as much as you think, especially if you love to write. It takes a little planning, but yes, you can create an Authority Blog for under $200.00. We did it and here is our recipe we used.

It all starts with picking your niche. And don't be afraid to go into even the most competitive niches, I don't care what the experts tell you. Just make sure the niche you choose is a Marketing Vertical that you know something about. Once you have your appropriate Niche Market selected, you will need to purchase a domain name.

You can go to Name Cheap and pick up one for under $10.00. But if you are serious about Blogging then I'd highly recommend registering it for 10 years, reason being you're going to have a lot of fun blogging and you don't wanna forget to renew it after putting in a year of hard work which is more appropriately coined labor of love.

Once you get setup with your domain you'll need Website Hosting. You can get this for just $10.00 per month at Hostgator. There are other solutions as well but we're with Hostgator and love it so far and is ample Website Hosting for getting your Blog started.
The next thing you'll need is a good Wordpress Theme.

If you choose the Ultimate Blogging Theme, the Thesis Theme or Affiliate Theme you'll be in good shape. Which one of these you choose is a matter of preference. What makes these Wordpress Themes great for blogging is that they are setup in a way where you can charge for advertising once you Build Your Blog up. If you are trying to create an Authority Blog then you'll just need one Theme and not their multi-license package which should be around $100.00 maybe a little less.

After you get all this setup all you have to do is start Blogging. What this means is write, write and write some more. Write all the Unique Content you can because Google absolutely loves this, and will send the spiders proliferating through your website more often if they keep reading this new content you are constantly creating.

That being said Article Writing is your best move. Try to write 3 articles a day. If you can do this, your New Blog will be over 1000 pages within one short year. Keep in mind that a year can go by fast when you're keeping busy, not to mention a 1000 page blog is a big deal, especially if it's all unique content.

Write your articles at least 500 words and make sure you submit these to the main Article Directories such as Ezine Articles, Go Articles, Idea Marketers and Article Dashboard. Borrowing PR from these directories will allow your Blog to grow fast and gain Page Rank as quick as possible.

Finally don't forget to Bookmark each post you make with the major Social Bookmarking sites in addition to submitting each post to the major Article Directories. Do this each day for a year and you'll have a Blog many would kill for with thousands of backlinks. Just make sure you include 2 links in your Resource Box. One should point to the main page and the other should go directly to your blog post.

Google Loves lots of back links to deep pages within your site. Doing this should take just a few hours a day if you can type and have an easy time writing about your Niche. Your other alternative is to go to Need An Article or elance and have them written for about $5.00 each. But remember 3 articles per day is 90 per month which is about $450.00 in expense. Plus you have to concern yourself with about a week turn around time.

By doing it yourself you get them right when you want them and save yourself a ton of money which is critical if you are starting out. Plus most article directories don't wanna get bombarded with over 100 articles each month anyway. And who knows more about your Niche than you do? For content you can do company reviews, product reviews and use the Free Google Keyword Research Tool and write articles around these keywords using them about 1 time for every hundred words. These articles should be related to your niche.
