Jades POV
Our swords clashed against each other as he pushed me back against the railing. I glared at him slashing my sword across his shirt cutting it. I grinned and sauntered around him as he watched waiting for what seemed to be my weak point. I swung out my sword clanging against his pushing him towards the rail, "You don’t know anything about weakness you fool." I glared at him as I pushed my sword against his my face inches from his.
He leaned down with force kissing me passionately I moaned as I heard the men gasp. He grinned down at me as I stared at him now realizing that I was against the railing. He pushed me down into the warm Caribbean water below. The men laughed and jumped in after me playing in the water like dolphins… or rather sharks.
I climbed out and glared at him as he looked at my soaked figure. I turned just in time to see Kale with a blanket, "Here you go." I nod at him and run down the company stairs to my cabin once my mother’s cabin it now held my swords and some treasure I had stolen from ships along with maps of places I have sailed to and my bed snuggled into the corner happily.
I’d have that man killed by tomorrow if I had my way. I put on dry clothes and came up on deck to see Kale talking to Sinbad while my father stood proudly at the helm of the ship glaring at the men who moved it along the deep ocean.
Sinbad’s POV
"So why is she on this ship and not enjoying her life on land," I turned back to Kale as she went to talk to her father.
"Her mother died when she was ten and was sent to be taken care of on this ship until she will be taken away again to marry some rich man." Kale grinned at him and turned back to look out at the now setting sun.
"How did her mother die?"
"She was murdered by the Captains brother Lord Richard Sawkins," Kale spat on the floor, "The Captain sailed into his home expecting his wife but found jade alone with her Fathers cousin."
I nodded, "Now I understand why she’s so hard and cold."
I thought to myself while I watched her talk to the doctor and her father overlooking some charts by the helm, She is beautiful but im sure the captain would kill me if he saw me with her and I need this job. Her green eyes met mine as I stared at her up and down she blushed and looked down I laughed to myself quietly as day turned into night on the Redemption.
