A Never Ending Love

A Never Ending Love
Many people were telling me that if I truly love someone, I should hold onto them no matter what kind of hardship I'm going through...
I try to keep the love between us unbroken.
But no matter how hard I try, it keeps on splitting away from my hand.
I cry...afraid that I'll completely lose it.
I try my hardest to hold onto it.
I don't care what people do to me.
No matter how much they beat me to the point I can't stand on my feet.
I'll still hold onto that love.
The love that you give to me, it's the most precious love that I'll ever want.
But when I look up at you, I see in your face telling me to let it go.
You say to me that the love between us is impractical to happen anymore.
I shake my head with tears in my eyes saying to you, that people will accept our love if you hold onto it and believe in it.
That's when my hand completely split away.
You turn your back on me, telling me that this is reality it's not like a fairy tale where everything you believe in will happen the way you wanted.
I watched you from behind as you started to walk away.
I cried and called your name so many times but you didn't turn around.
I started crying even more when suddenly I notice something on the spot that you were standing.
There was a small teardrop on the ground.
That's when I notice that the love between us is truly strong and real.
I'm not the only one hurting inside but you're also the one that's hurting even more than me.
I decided to stop crying because no matter what I do, you'll never return.
You'll always be the one in my heart no matter whom I love or who I'm with...
Because the love between us...
It's a love that'll never have an ending.
