A Needle Lost in Space
It's a poem about society change.
Have you ever wondered how kids are in the ghetto?
If you reach them,
They may carry a stiletto
Carrying such a blade.
It reminds them the things they made
All those boys and girls in the gang
They don’t realize that they‘re like a bite of fang
Do not let them fool you, for the way they look.
Going to school and carrying a book
Awful teenagers with a fake smile
But, it’s a problem that have been for a while
What do they have under their shirt?
Tattoos representing all the people they hurt
That’s why keep an eye on your son
Because, you don’t know if they sleep with a gun.
If you reach them,
They may carry a stiletto
Carrying such a blade.
It reminds them the things they made
All those boys and girls in the gang
They don’t realize that they‘re like a bite of fang
Do not let them fool you, for the way they look.
Going to school and carrying a book
Awful teenagers with a fake smile
But, it’s a problem that have been for a while
What do they have under their shirt?
Tattoos representing all the people they hurt
That’s why keep an eye on your son
Because, you don’t know if they sleep with a gun.
