A Marriage for Jeana Chapter 2

Jeana's true colors begin to emerge. Is she really as accepting as she appears? And who is the mysterious tutor?
Dear Diary,

Grandmother is furious with me, and it is all my tutor's fault. I made the assumption that my tutor would be female. Obviously, my grandmother had other plans. The main purpose of this journal is to develop my vocabulary and keep my emotions in check. My guess is that it is not working. My grandmother had hoped that I would be eligible to attend the ball to be held in honor of Prince Jorge this summer. According to her my training has only just begun.

The tutor sent to me is a complete pain in the ass. I hope my grandmother never gets a hold of this because I am going to start using tons of improper language. What the hell does she expect me to do!? I need to get the rebellion out of my system one way or another. It does not help that my "tutor" none other than the notorious Jace Cavoltri, which brings another question to my mind. How can my grandmother even afford to pay someone to tutor me? Uggh... I am seriously beginning to resent being me. I have always done what is best for my family, but must I lose all of my freedom.

The fact that Mr. Cavoltri often taunted me on his visits when I was younger does not help matters any. We have never gotten along, and now I am supposed to abide by his rules even though he has never exhibited proper behavior himself? The man makes me sick, literally. I can hardly wait to see what tomorrow brings...
