Lord of the Glens
The Lord of the Glens is a luxury cruise liner that offers you a unique and luxurious way to travel around Scotland’s most scenic areas. There are a total of 27 luxury cabins and all come equipped with modern luxuries such as Satellite TV and large windows looking out on the beautiful surrounding scenery.
The ship it has modern facilities onboard with a bar, lounge area and a restaurant for guest to use. The ship is furnished to the highest standard with rick mahogany furnishing and an elegant teak viewing deck from which you can admire the magnificent highland scenery.
There are various route options available ranging from 4-11 days and they all take in some of the most scenic locations in the Highlands. Some of the main attractions on the route include going through the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness through the heart of the Highlands.

The Royal Scotsman
The Royal Scotsman is a luxury train that offers "one of the best travel experiences in the world". The trains journey takes guests through the heart of the Highlands in style and luxury.
Onboard the train you will find a restaurant which offers a varied menu with both informal and formal dining options. The dining area is furnished with mahogany paneling and has the look of an elegant restaurant, with a fantastic view outside.
There are a total of 20 cabins and each has elegant furnishings and has been made to be as comfortable as possible. They all have a private bathroom with shower and toilet and the train is stationary at night to help you get a good nights sleep.
To truly enjoy the fantastic landscapes and scenery that you journey through you can go to the observation deck. Here there are a plenty of windows offering a panoramic view of the Highland landscape and there is also an open verandah which offers an even better view.

Luxury Hotels
If you are looking for a more traditional luxury break then there is no shortage of luxury hotels throughout Scotland. A couple of the most popular ones are in Edinburgh and near Fort William in the Highlands.

There are only 17 rooms and each is individually designed and furnished to the highest standard. You enjoy a mixture of breathtaking views and high class luxury in the rooms which all come en-suite and with modern amenities.
There are three dining areas to choose from in the castle and each is decorated with period specific furniture and elegance. There restaurant is award wining and has a Michelin Star for quality.
If you are looking for things to do during your stay then you will find a range of outdoor activities from whitewater rafting to off road driving. Also nearby is Britain’s tallest mountain Ben Nevis and an abundance of fantastic scenery.
