Decorating, regardless to what part of the house can be a daunting task. The bathroom however, is one of the easiest rooms to do. It is one of the smallest and contains the lease amount of things. Here are some tips that will help you while decorating.
When you decide to decorate, you should always figure out the amount of money that you have to work with. This means that you should know exactly how much you want to spend. Additionally, you should think about the degree of which you want to decorate. Additionally, you should choose an overall theme. First thing you should do when think about the lighting in the bathroom, is whether the current fixtures are something that you can use. Consider some different bulbs as an alternative to buying new fixtures. Lighting in the bathroom can make quite a difference in the appearance.

If you are going for an elegant look, then consider something like a smaller style chandelier. Then there are a lot of elegant types of lights that you can place on the sides of you mirror, If you don't want to put the lighting on the sides then there are plenty of different styles that are available for the top of the mirror. When you change the lighting, you will notice quite a difference in the way things look. The main focus of a bathroom color usually is the shower curtain. Often you can hang two and make a nice tie back design. Many of the outer curtains are a little more expensive, but add a lot to the design that you are trying to achieve. If you want to save money, then think of making your own outer shower curtain. You can often by clearance items at a great price, since it is the lower thread count that will work the best.

Shelving is a wonderful addition to the bathroom design. Think of recycling something that you own, metal is the best. Give it some new paint and add some nice knickknacks and then you have a nice new addition to the overall of the room. Buying a new style of towel racks will add a lot to, especially if this is something you are trying to achieve. If you do not want to buy new ones then think about painting the ones that you have. Adding paint does not cost much and creates a whole new look of the room. Matching the paint to the shower curtain will add to the bathrooms design. If you match the color of the towels to the room then it adds to the theme as well. If you have a really small bathroom, then think of adding a mirror to the back of the door, which will make it seem bigger than it really is.

Then there are other things like the soap dishes and toothbrush holders that are the things that complete the touch. Throw in a rug and you have a whole new bathroom for you to enjoy. Always make sure to utilize any of the things that you can out of your bathroom, that way you will save money.
