A Great Cure to Ease Break Up Pain
The pain of a break up can be hard to deal with and hard to get over. Here's some advice to lessen the blow of a break up.
Breaking up really sucks. You feel miserable and everything around you seems to become a lot sadder. The pain doesn't seem like it will ever end. You can't spend every day pining over your ex though. It's not healthy and no one will like being around you. So what can you do to cure some of this break up pain you're feeling?
The first thing you need to do is stop any contact you have with your ex. This time should be at least one month. This is the first step to clearing your head and giving the situation some thought. Some time apart is very necessary right now.
Get out of the house. Go hang out with your friends. Be active, keep busy, and show there's more things that make your world go around than your lost love. This can be done by taking up a new hobby, doing something physical like bike riding or hiking, and especially by meeting some new people. Your regular circle of friends may or may not be the best company to go out with depending on much your ex and your friendship with them overlapped, but the time away from it will be good for you.
More good can come from this as well. News will get back to your ex about how "well" you've taken the break up. They may start missing you and want you back in their lives. By going out and having fun they can also see the fun side of you that they fell in love with the first time around. Your ex will be much more attracted to the fun, confident, version of yourself that let go to have a fun night on the town than the moaning, broody, and love sick version of you they broke up with and want to get back together.
