To most the idea of a good job site is a large list of jobs available and popularity with the top companies. No doubt a large job listing is a positive virtue of a job site but then what kind of jobs. Who is seeking candidates on that job site? Are the employers seeking job applicant from low level companies? Are the recruiters third rated body shoppers? All this matters.

An ideal jobsite should have a large database of top companies seeking to hire and a large database of jobseekers online with resumes uploaded in proper format. Many career websites upload fake resumes or resumes of inferior candidates with heightened profiles. A good website offering jobs should be honest and sincere. It should maintain quality and keep its integrity intact. The lure of money from registration, high visibility and online popularity can send job site owners into complacency and make them forget the ethics of the trade.

A website offering job search should have a global reach until unless it is a localized site offering local job search. The reach should across all countries that have the potential to employ budding candidates from all over the globe. Career opportunities are far from localized in this global economy. The hire and seek transcends national boundaries. Many job aspirants seek opportunity internationally spread out to countries with high economic growth rate.

The job listings on a good jobsite should be diverse covering all topics and industrial demands. The job listings should be there for not only high paying jobs for experienced candidates but offer start jobs for fresher as well. The employers should be seeking jobseekers of all levels having different qualifications and grade.

The online jobsite should be technically perfect and user friendly and deliver right results fast on the users desktop. Hence when seeking jobs be alert and gauge a job site properly before registering for its services.
