A Fallen Angel 9
A meeting with a family member may bring chaos into the couples life once again. Comment.
Angelic had the oddest feeling she was being watched as she awoke the next morning but when she opened her eyes her room was empty.
She looked down at her bruises and grimaced as she touched a tender one. She swung her legs over the edge of the bed and put her head in her hands. How am I going to deal with this? How am I supposed to act? She got up and walked into the bathroom turned on the shower and got in refreshing herself. When she stepped out 30 minutes later she had come up with a solution. She was going to pretend nothing happened last night and she is going to try to stay calm around him.
She smiled as her usual angelic self came back. She glided over to her closet and picked out a pink and yellow sundress that went down to floor. She didn't want to show the bruises so she covered everything up. She couldn't really hide the ones on her shoulders so she just let her hair hang down over her spine and shoulders. She looked in the full length mirror and smiled at the reflection. Looking like a goddess again? She thought with a smirk.
Her stomach growled and she put her hand on her stomach. Someone's hungry. she thought sullenly. She exited her room silently and entered the kitchen heading straight for the pots and pans draw. She turned the stove on to medium heat and then walked over to the large double-doored silver refrigerator/freezer. She got out eggs, bacon and a container of juice. She left the door open and went to set the items on the island counter top in the middle of the kitchen. She got out the milk and then closed the door. "Cooking something?" Daemon said soothingly.
Angelic jumped and dropped the milk on the floor.
Daemons eyes narrowed at her reaction and she began to apologize. "I am so sorry you just startled me." She smiled at him and then when he didn't smile back she began to resume her cooking.
He was wearing no shirt and black trousers from the night before and also he was wearing inside slippers.
He approached her as she was cracking the eggs over the pan.
"Did you have a good nights rest?" he breathed in her ear while he rested his hands on her hips.
She nodded not trusting her voice.
"Are you going to make me some?" he whispered in her ear. She shivered and said in a shaky voice. "Of course my love."
He grinned and asked "Do you need any help?"
She shook her head and he began to exit the room "I'm going to take a shower and freshen myself up ok?"
She nodded and lowered her head making her hair shade her face.
He came back to her and gave her quick but passionate kiss on the lips then exited the room swiftly.
An hour later Daemon came back with a plain white t-shirt and navy blue jeans.
The smell of eggs and bacon assaulted his senses and he saw Angelic leaning on the counter looking out the window that surveyed the ocean. The look in her eyes were far away and he cleared his throat. She jumped and glanced at him smiling suddenly she made her way to the table. He looked at their plates which held 3 pieces of bacon, 2 sunny side up eggs and 2 pancakes, 2 glasses of Orange Juice also.
"This looks amazing darling."
Her eyes sparkled and she sat down and he did the same.
They ate in silence for 2 minutes before Daemon asked. "You do not look well what is it?"
Oh, nothing you just raped me last night. she was about to say before she caught herself.
Instead she smiled and said in a fake chirpy voice. "Nothing, I was just thinking about how smashing you look this morning."
He grinned and looked her up and down "I could have said the same thing."
She blushed and looked out the window. They made small talk about nothing in particular before Angelic started to clean up the plates. Daemon got up and said "Let me help you."
She began to protest but he picked some plates up and on the way to the sink accidentally bumped into her. She hissed in pain as he brushed against her tender bruises. He glanced at her and she smiled. "Are you ok?" he said with a frown.
She nodded and excused herself from the room.
Daemon stared at her leaving and when she left the room she let the tears fall.
When she entered the kitchen again Daemon wasn't alone. There was a man who looked mighty similar to Daemon he had black hair and red eyes. He was dressed in a full black business suit from head to toe. She could have sworn she knew him from somewhere.
"Ah. Here she is, Angelic meet my brother Thantos, Thantos this is Angelic." Thantos smiled at Angelic and Angelic just stared at him with pure fear in her eyes.
She couldn't believe he had the nerve to come into her and Daemons domain and daemon actually let him! But then again what am I....a whore? She closed her eyes for a second and then opened them and smiled at Daemon and Thantos. "It's nice to finally meet you." She approached him and Thantos opened his arms to her. She hesitated thinking of her bruises again, she glanced at Daemon who already looked pretty pissed off. She sighed and walked into his arms. He smelled of burned charcoal, he smelled of hell. she thought. She grimaced as he hugged her tightly and then released her.
Daemon saw her grimace and he frowned. "You got a treasure here you know Daemon, the girls where we come from are way to tough." Thantos winked at her and she blushed. She began to feel a bad feeling settle in her stomach and glanced at Daemon suddenly he was frowning at his brother who couldn't seem to take his eyes of Angelic's body. He cleared his throat and Thantos looked at Daemon. "I'm sorry Angelic but me and Daemon have much to speak of if you don't mind running along."
Angelic felt her heart accelerate with hate but she smiled calmly and exited the room leaving the two brothers to converse.
Two hours later....
Angelic walked into her room and out onto her balcony and spread her wings wide she jumped over and glided in between the clouds that overlooked the ocean. The sea gulls flew near her for a little bit before exasperating and soaring into the sea. She sighed and did a full circle something blocked the sun from her vision and she looked up to see Thantos with his black wings soaring in front of her. She floated and he flew over to her with a stupid smirk stuck on his face. His face was well shaven and he had long sweeping eyebrows. She looked into his eyes and he finally spoke "I would say it's been nice to meet you but frankly, it hasn't, you're not his soulmate....you're a whore and that is all, have fun with him while you can, you might not wake up one day."
She smiled and said 'Until that day, I bid you a good day." She left him floating in the
stratosphere, staring at her with a look of pure evil.
