Chapter 1
As I got out of bed and walked slowly to the bathroom, my body ached with intense pain from head to toe. My head was spinning and pounding and I could barely keep my eyes open.
I turned on the tap and splashed my face in some cool tap water, but that only made my head ache more. Wanting to cure the disease that was coming on, I caught a glass of water and opened the medicine cabinet to take out some pain killers. To my horror there was none. I searched the bathroom desperately to find the last place I put the pain killers. I checked in every bag, box and container, but no matter where I searched I found nothing.
"Strange," I thought to myself. I was a girl who always kept medication at home because I was always sick. My job always required me to have a variety of medication since I was always exposed to people from various walks of life.
Feeling sick and extremely tired, I walked slowly back to my bed and climbed under the sheets. I considered calling my mother at work and asking her for medication, but the chance was too great. She would think that I was lying to her just so I could stay at home from work. I closed my eyes praying that the pain would go away, but before I knew it, I was fast asleep. To my surprise, my dream from last night was repeated.
In my dream I was walking through the most beautiful forest ever. They were pretty lush trees and flowers lining the walk path and the grass I walked on was a rich green. I hadn't gone far when I heard the sound of running water. Wanting to take a closer look, I followed the sound until I saw a stream. The water looked tempting and cool so I held over and took a small drink before washing my face in the clear water. When I had enough, I turned around and saw a beautiful purple and pink flower which I didn't know the name for. Wanting to take a flower home as proof of being in such a place, I picked a flower, but before the flower was completely off the plant I heard a noise behind me. Terrified, I quickly pulled off the flower and began to run. I didn't even check to see what it was. I had just reached the trees where I first started when I felt a sharp pain move through me, and then I woke up.
