A Dream Come True - Parts 5 to 7
Not a true story!
Part 5
Back to my weekend, well Saturday actually. My mom told me that they were all going to a meeting today at Google, so I was in charge of Sarah. She also said that Sarah had ballet from 2-4:30 and that I had to stay for the entire practice. Then at 5:30-6:30 we needed to go and grab Lindsey to take them both to their karaoke thing at their school. Once we were home my mom told me to make dinner for the three of us and to drive Lindsey home, unless a sleepover was in arrange. Lastly, at 9:30 I was to wash the dishes and put Sarah or Lindsey to bed. The last thing my mom told me before she left was that she was to be home by 11:30 pm. My Saturday was a waste!
Once Sunday came, the backyard was to be raked and mowed. The house was to be cleaned and sparkly by the time my mom arrived home for her interview with Ellen. Which was a HUGE job for a 17-year-old and a 6-year-old bratty, spoiled sister with the name of Sarah. She never does anything, never helps with me or my parents. Why do I always get stuck sitting her?!
Anyway Sunday afternoon came and I was inside cleaning and partially outside mowing and raking. Then on Sunday night my mom gave me the night off (THANK GOD) from any family activities or chores. I invited my friend Kelly Drew to come and watch a movie with me: Jealousy Counts. I got re-dressed into some jeans, a nice top, and some tan topsiders. I told my mom that I was going to watch a movie with Kelly. The movie could have been better if it was actually about jealousy! I got home around 12:30; packed my bag for school and went to sleep. Well, now that I have told you my weekend, you better not ask me about Monday.
Monday; doesn't everybody enjoy them? Not! 2 tests and 3 quizzes was my schedule for the morning, thank goodness I had study hall first period. Anyway Monday was a disaster, but then Tuesday came! Let's just make this a quick short answer: my week was a failure! A miserable, dreadful, and terrible week! I told you it was short, there you have it!
Here is the true introduction of this story: this is my life, my secrets, and all the trueness about life in general. No, these are not tips or things you should do but, what did. No, this is not a diary, or life lessons either, but how I survived my family and my life. Ok so now you know what this is all about, shall I continue?

Part 6
May, FINALLY! Only one month and two weeks of school left. Training for fall soccer was up and running, practice just about every other day. Ally? Oh yea that brat is still on my team, still MVP (by my friends) and the same girl she was 5 years ago. Except now she is on the cheerleading team, great!
Here she is Ally Parker, 17 years old and a true brat, well probably only to me. She has been in all my classes and all my sports teams for the past 5 years. If you don't believe me here is a flashback: It was 7th grade and I was 13 years old. My second week of school, I knew where all my classes were and how to get there. The only thing I hadn't learned was how to find a different route to most of my classes. Since it was first period and I had English, I knew Ally was coming up the stairs (you know since she is/was in all my classes). She was probably smelling my blood and already hunting me down, ready to attack.
Anyway I had reached the stairs; while I was walking up, then I felt something in front of my foot, it was ticklish. Before I could do anything I was tripped and fell, luckily my hands saved my face from bruising, but then again I did sprain my wrist. See ever since that day she has been my target for revenge, to get back at her for all the pain she has caused me. No, literally pain: a broken leg, a sprained wrist, a broken arm, and a broken finger. See, I told you she is rude, mean, and in a way creepy. OK well that is all I am saying about that child for one day! Now, may I continue? Well, too bad cause I am.
Since its May finals have arrived and last tests and quizzes have somehow been squeezed into my small schedule. Homework is finally dying down, and summer shall be arriving soon. Which means hello Hawaii!! Or hello Grandma's house... A house that smells of old people or candy (not the good kind). For vacations we hardly ever go to grandma's, it's usually Hawaii or California. Sometimes during Easter break we visit but that's all. Anyway, the beach and the ocean, it's just so relaxing, try to argue with that. UNLESS, your dumb sister picks up a handful of sand and throws it on you! Yes, she does do that, hard to believe right? Not! As well as when your mom makes you take your sister swimming in the frigid ocean, rather than getting a tan. While your still dry she will splash water all over you, which makes it impossible to stay warm.
The couple of things that come out of the trip are a wonderful tan, and a walk on the beach just as the sun is setting; the gentle wind blowing in your face, while the waves crash on the empty cold beach. Also the best thing to do is play beach soccer with your family, it's fun to watch my sister to attempt to kick the ball then fall on the sand, standing up crying with sand pieces surrounding her face. She is just so good at tripping and making me laugh in that way. I know I shouldn't be talking about summer until June actually is in sight. Thank goodness for my parents picking somewhere to treat us for our summers instead of staying home and working, or in my sister and I: swimming in the pool and jumping on the trampoline, or practicing for soccer in the sweltering heat of Maryland. Thank you parents for making our vacations happen every summer!

Part 7
School, doesn't everybody love it? The time in which you awake early in the morning, even before the sun is up, and get home late, after the sun has already set. That doesn't make sense, especially for all of us who are in high school, waking up at 5:30 or 6:30 instead of sleeping in until 10 or 11. A schedule that I would prefer a lot better is waking up at the earliest of 9:30 am, having a maximum of 4-5 classes a day then heading home around 2ish. That would be a much better idea! Teachers on the other hand can worry about themselves, oh all right they can come to school around 8:45 am, happy?
Next on my agenda would be the amounts of homework we have to work on everyday. Oh my goodness, homework is a whole another thing! The amount I receive from Math and Chem is a disaster! Papers, labs, and notes included, I mean really people, one worksheet would be fine. Then we have the tests and quizzes, almost every other day of the week is another quiz, then every two weeks or so a test! OK so maybe I am taking this complaint too far, I should have known: its high school deal with it!
As Friday rolled around the corner, the weekend was in sight. The movies, a bed to sleep in longer, and just being home all day. Finals are always a reminder, coming up in about 4 1/2 weeks following shortly behind: report cards. Once May is over June rolls into its place and the two weeks of school finish themselves up. By June the teachers have died down with their homework and tests. Mostly of what happened are either movies or review worksheets. On the last day of school, friends say goodbye, some students say, "Have a good summer," to their teachers and yearbooks are handed out. For me yearbooks are pictures and pictures of things you might not even want to be taken, but will still be taken. Unfortunately I get in a lot of pictures in the yearbook. My new saying for this stuff is: it's life deal with it!
OK well Friday took a wrong turn in the morning somewhere because my day ended with a slap, literally. I started my day with a good night sleep, and a partially good breakfast, and a perfect first period. The problem I faced was in my second period class, Chem. I forgot my homework at home on my desk, plus we had a pop quiz on the Periodic Table, and I fell off my chair (long story). Third period was even worse since I forgot my lunch, money on my bed stand at home, which meant no money, no lunch and a hungry stomach. Fourth period was math and a disastrous class that began and ended as.
Another pop quiz on radical equations, plus the two failed homework's I received back from my teacher. Once fifth period arrived it landed on me with a thud. I felt as if someone had thrown a rock at my forehead, a headache all through AP Lang class. Guess what? No, don't guess cause I am going to tell you, a vocab quiz and a review for a test on Monday. No clue how my day ended so poorly but it's over, so now I don't have to worry about it anymore, well until my parents find out about the failures today.
Saturday; the first day of relaxation in over 2 weekends. How amazed am I? Well, all I did on Saturday morning was sleep in until 11:30 am, finish all my homework, and study for my AP Lang test on Monday. By the time I finished it all the time added out to be 6:30 pm. Saturday was called my homework day because once Sunday arrived on my doorstep it was cleaning day.
Back to my weekend, well Saturday actually. My mom told me that they were all going to a meeting today at Google, so I was in charge of Sarah.
