A Dream Come True - Part 8

Not a true story.
Yes, you heard right, cleaning day. The day when everybody in my family gets to clean all day (yeah, not). Doesn't everybody love it? No, cleaning stinks, no literally it really does stink. Alright come people work with me here; it's simple: cleaning day, hence the name cleaning. I always get stuck on bedrooms job. Which means: restocking all mini fridge items, making beds, cleaning all glass items, vacuuming, dusting, organizing, laundry, folding clothes, making sure rooms are in tip-top shape.

Oh, and the bedrooms where we keep our pets: cleaning cages, new sawdust in cages, comb the dogs, feed them, water them, and bathe the dogs. You must be wondering in your little minds why on God's green earth why we don't have cats. Well, that is the easiest question ever; we hate cats. Short and sweet! Longer version: the only person in this house who likes them is Sarah, and since she is the only one we decided not to get one. As well as they don't do anything but sleep or purr. Well, anyway cleaning is every Sunday unless my parents are home.

Wonderful! The weekend is almost over; 2 days of relaxation then school for 5 days, that's not fair. Then again we do get summers off and holidays off so it must equal out to something. Alright let's get started with what is coming up this week for school: 3 tests, 4 days of soccer practice, 1 day of babysitting, and 5 days of homework, busy, busy, busy week!

The days have flown by so quickly, I can barely remember what day it is anymore. The month of June is driving up on me so quickly that, I can't remember the fall season of last year. Now that Monday is over and Tuesday yet to come I have an AP Lang test to study for tomorrow, wish me luck!

All we really do in that class is read books, stories, and poems from literature. Tomorrow is the day we are to begin discussing our recently read book: 'Dreams can never Lie' written by Tom Murphy. Murphy has written many books and short stories but this one really blew my mind away. All the fascinating and fantasy stars that all flew together to create this book. for the past few weeks our AP Lang teacher, Mrs. O'Hara has been discussing dreams with us. So far we have had to write 6 essays and one short poem. But, through all those assignments I have begun to realize what will happen after high school. You see high school is like a safety home; a place where you begin to decide your life. By doing this you must learn to realize you mistakes and to fix them.
