A Dirty Game - Chapter 4
Wow...I'm surprised by the amount of people who like this story, really I had my bets on The Right Choice being better liked, but whatever floats your boat =] Thanks to Baby Jane, Cassie, Sam, Marie, Ren, Addicted and Floppy Disc <3
A loving heart is the beginning of all knowledge.

"He flirted with you?" Lauryn raised an eyebrow. Ruby nodded and popped a stick of gum in her mouth. She was lying across Lauryn's (who she had decided was an okay person to have in the new 'clique' she intended to start) desk. The teacher hadn't come in yet and everyone was chatting.
"So, he definitely told you he wants to see you again?" she asked skeptically.
"Well, not in so many words"
"So I should think. He has a girlfriend and they are actually pretty serious".
"Lauryn, if they were serious, she wouldn't have gone swanning of to flipping Paris, without him. Therefore, I am entitled to try" she smirked.
"Okay" Lauryn muttered.
She was suddenly having second thoughts about hanging with Ruby. If she was a boyfriend-snatcher who's to say she wouldn't steal Lauryn's man? She was glad when Mrs Pritz came banging in, with her glasses all hanging off her nose, and her hair in a tangled mess.
Ruby sighed and peeled herself off, then went back to her own desk. Romeo was sitting at the back of the class, secretly texting, no doubt Kim. I need to get closer to him, she thought. But how? There was of course that empty seat next to him but...there was no point in trying to sit there. Lauryn had told her that the last person who had tried to sit in Kim's seat got severely dissed. She rested her chin in her hand and stared straight ahead for the rest of the lesson.

"Ruby!" she heard. She turned and Romeo was walking fast, trying to catch up. Oh, em, geeeeeeeee, she thought.
"Hi" she breathed.
"Hey, your going to English right?" he asked falling into step next to her.
"Yeah"
"Cool"
There was a stunned silence as people clocked who Ruby was walking with. There was a smug smile working it's way up her face.
"So, uh, how come you're walking with me?"
"You're different from everyone else. They all try to either get stuff from me so they can twist it or they're trying to shove themselves on me" he shook his head.
"Poor you" Ruby gushed and put her arm around his shoulders. He looked at her and then she moved her arm as they got to the classroom door.
"Thanks for walking with me" she smiled and then, though she wasn't sure if it would be alright, she kissed him on the cheek.
"Um...ok" was all he said and then slipped in the door. A few people were watching with wide eyes. Ruby sneered at them then allowed herself a grin. She was getting closer...and soon she'd make him forget all about...Kim. Another girl she wanted in her clique called Amatullah was walking towards her. She pasted on a smile and linked arms with her.
"You are never gonna believe what just happened!" she squealed.
