A Diffrent Life 11!

The next morning I surprisingly woke up feeling refreshed. I felt like a new me. Weird, I know. After last night I am surprised I don’t have a migraine from all that crying. Is it possible to get on your own nerves?

Because last night I was ready to slap myself because I wouldn’t stop crying! But I finally went to sleep. I had come to an understanding with myself. I couldn’t wait to get to school. I had some things I needed to say. And Boy was I ready to say them!

I ran up stairs with pots and pans banging them as I ran up. I busted through our bedroom door and started yelling at the top of my lungs. "IZZY GET YOUR SLEEPY BUTT UP"!!

She turned over in the covers and was making those "mmhhhmm" noises. I mimicked her and said "Mmhhhmm, NOTHING GET UP"! I stopped banging the pots and pans and walked right to her bed and looked at the lump under the covers.

I placed my hand on her and said "Aww, you poor baby are that sleepy". She murmured "yes". I started laughing, stood up and yelled, "WELL TOO BAD GET YOUR LAZY BUTT UP"! I grabbed a pillow from my bed still laughing and started hitting her with it.
I was laughing at how she had curled up in a ball trying to protect herself. I have no clue what has gotten into me. I just feel so happy.

Suddenly she jumped up and grabbed her own pillow and with an evil smile said "YOU ASKED FOR IT". Laughing she jumped on me making us drop on the floor with her on top of me.

Thank goodness I landed on the pillow and didn’t land on my back which would have hurt seeing as how the bruise still hadn’t healed. Both laughing we got up and started getting ready.

When I had gotten off the bus I felt jittery in a good way. Once I stepped into the building Christa darted straight for me.
"Hey" she said.
"Hey"
"Want to catch a movie after school."
I thought about it. Should I? I mean the money in Caleb’s wallet is running pretty low. I have no clue how long it would last us. I still had to go grocery shopping this week-end.

Interrupting my thoughts Christa said "I’ll pay your way in since you gave me lunch money last week that I still haven’t paid back. Let me pay you this way."
I thought again and then said "Sure, but the movie has to be directly after school, cause I have to go pick Christa up from Daycare before 5:30."

"Sure, but hey what about your stepbrother why can’t he pick her up"?
Why did she have to ask? My brain was fishing for a lie to say?
"Uh…he has to stay at work overtime boss’s orders". Lame, I know but hey if she brought it that is cool with me. And she accepted it.
"Okay, well see ya" . She started to walk off to class.
I called after her and asked "Hey Chris, who all is coming with?"
Without turning around she said "Us, James, Devin and Janice ".
Janice? Did she mean tall model like Janice with the shampoo commercial hair? Why was Janice coming with us?

At lunch I saw the two lovebirds sitting together as usual nowadays. But Janice was sitting over there to. What? That is weird.

I saw James sitting with Matt and Luke the start hockey players at school watching a hockey game on Matt’s iPod.
I walked over set my tray down and asked Luke can I sit here.
"Uh…sure I don’t care." He said.
When I did sit down James was giving me this look like ‘What are you doing’?
I used my head to tell him to scoot down the table toward the end. He still had that look on his face but scooted down. I did the same.
He leaned over and whispered. "What are you doing"?
"Look I have something I want to tell you".
"What is it"?

"It has to do with last night."
He looked down at the table and lad this embarrassed look on his face.
"Yeah" he mumbled still looking at the table.
"Well I—" I started when Luke sort of yelled "Hey James man come here you got to see what just happened.

I swear I saw James sigh in relief when Luke said that. He turned to me and said "Look tell me later okay" and scooted back up to Matt and Luke.
I guess what I have to say can wait then.

School ended and we were about to go in James car to the movies. I was about to get in when I remembered that I didn’t have my cell phone with me. I needed that just in case Izzy called me because something happened.

I jumped out the car and said "Hey you guys go ahead I forgot my phone and I really need that just in case.
"But—" Christa said.
"Don’t worry I will be therein time."
"Well okay then see you then."
I saw then drive away then I dashed for the buses hoping mine hadn’t left yet.

When I got home I ran upstairs and grabbed my cell phone off the nightstand. I ran back downstairs phone in pocket. When I was halfway down the stairs I heard the front door open and shut.

What? Then suddenly a strange feeling came over me. I can’t describe it but it was there.
I slowly walked down the stairs and came face to face with doom.
The person who stood in front of me smiled wickedly in a crooked smile.

Then said roughly "Hey there Barbie doll , miss me?" ………………………………Caleb.
