A Different Life 2

Mr. Morris had just entered his health class. He tapped his ruler on this desk basically telling us all to shut up. When he had our attention he began talking, "Okay class, I and the other teachers got together and decided to do a little project".

I wonder what the project was. I mean the teachers rarely get together and come up with things for us to do. Anyways back to Mr. Morris. "The project we decided on doing has to do with you getting a partner and learning things about him or her. And vice versa".

Once he had finished saying this, the whole class started whispering to each other. I picked up a couple of things. People were saying things like "Sounds Cool", "About time we did something fun", "I hope I don’t get a nerd".

I turned around to talk to Chris (Christa). We exchanged knowing looks. I then said "Too easy". Chris nodded and added "A+ here we come".

Then Mr. Morris banged his ruler on the desk again making everyone go silent. I turned back around in my seat and looked at Mr. M.

"But…your partners are to be chosen by us teachers".

Loud groans filled the classroom, followed by "Aw Man this sucks".

I quickly turned around to look at Christa and whispered "No more easy A". Meaning we weren’t going to be partners.

"Now everyone please follow me into the auditorium".

I had just entered the auditorium with Christa right beside me. She exclaimed "Talk about packed".
"Yeah I know what you mean; I didn’t even know that we had so many kids in our school".
I glanced around quickly; I definitely saw a lot of unfamiliar faces. I quickly continued to scan the room, when I saw something/ someone who made me do a double take.

Man he was soooo cute!! No he wasn’t cute at all…..he was sexy. He had beautiful caramel complexion. His head was shaved to where the hair was still there but not a lot. (Yes shaved not bald). He had the lightest brown eyes I had ever seen. He had a diamond earring in his right earlobe. He was totally gorgeous. He wore a baby blue Hollister shirt, which fit his complexion PERFECTLY. His pants sagged a little in the back; which was really cute. How could I have NOT noticed this SEXY guy before?

He was talking to this girl about whatever. I saw him laugh making her laugh. He had a perfect set of pearly white. I felt my heart flutter.

"AA HELLO, OMG! WILL YOU STOP GAPING AT THE GUY!!?" I was pulled out of my every interesting observing session, to hear Christa screaming in my ears.
"ALL RIGHT, ALL RIGHT WILL YOU SHUT UP PLEASE?" I shouted back.
She laughed at me "Glad you could finally join me back on planet earth".
"Ha-ha whatever" I laughed with her.

She suddenly stopped laughing. Her eyes got really big and I was trying not to laugh at how she looked right now.

"What?" I asked.
She shot up her finger and was poking it in the direction behind me. I was seriously confused so I whirled around. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Christa run off looking off her partner.

I felt my mouth drop open. Standing in front of me was Mr. OH SO SEXY himself!!!

It was plain to see that the look on my face humored him. His eyebrows arched up as he asked "Allyaisa?"
My head moved up and down mechanically, with my mouth still open.
"Are you okay?" he asked. I was a little confused but I quickly knew what he was talking about…my wide open mouth.

I quickly shut my mouth and mumbled "yeah, yeah of course" feeling heat rise to my cheeks.

He nodded flashed me a heart melting smile and looked back down at the paper he was holding.
Then a very good question popped in my head, why in the world was he talking to me?

I asked him that question. He looked up from the paper flashed me another smile and answered "It looks like you’re my partner in this little "project" " he said making air quotes, which was really cute to see him do.

I laughed making him laugh. But then I stopped laughing…realization hit me…HE IS MY PARTNER!!!

I felt my heart jump into my throat. I was really happy but then again I was a little scared. I know in this project we are supposed to learn things about each other. I just hope he doesn’t learn about my big secret.
