A Dead Life (2)
Love is hard to find... or is it?
Azzurra, you will need someone to train you and teach you how to grow accustom to your senses. I am sure Antonio will be more then happy to help with that." With a small graceful bow Vespasian soundlessly left the room. I turned to Antonio and was once again dumbfounded by his impeccable beauty. He held my gaze, like a fist clamped around my head not allowing it to move. My face heated as I realized we were staring at each other intently trying to memorize each line and scar of his faces. I averted my eyes and studied the tile floor intently. Beige, ruby, beige, ruby. He laughed a booming sound flowing through the twines of spaces around each other and pulling at my heart as it wraps around my body. A tingling sensation grabbed through the tips of my fingers and toes waiting to break free from the pale pad of my skin and shine around me illuminating the darkness ahead of me. Thoughts so deep were drowning in thick masses of questions from the sides in a dizzying affect. Its funny how all my thought were breaking free from one laugh.
~~~~~~~~~~
Her forehead and cheeks turned a vibrant shade of crimson that’s as intoxicating as the smell of spring. She quickly looks at the floor as if it holds the meaning of life in between its rocky layers. I can’t help but laugh. I close the space between us with one quick stride –too fast to catch with human eyes. And lay a cold hand on her slim shoulder. When we touched so much electricity flowed too and from my hand, without realizing what I was doing I moved closer towards her. Her chest pressed against mind and I tilted her head back and kissed her soft rose I moved closer towards her. Her chest pressed against mine and I tilted her head back and kissed her soft rose petal lips.
~~~~~~~~~~
I clasped my hands tightly around his neck and forced him closer into me. So he could feel my heart hammering against my chest so strongly its pulsed touched Antonio, as if our heartbeats were one. It felt as if I was glowing as strongly as the sun, impossibly radiant. We pulled away from each other’s lips and stared deeply into each other’s eyes. The buttery warmth of his eyes made my head spin and my knees give out, before I knew it I was slumped on the ground completely unconscious.
I woke up to sharp pokes in my throat. I batted my eyelids a couple of times to get a clear images of where I was. I saw a black figures head nuzzle my throat and then a sharp pain ripped through my like a lightening bolt, I screamed as the blood flowed down and onto the floor. The black figure instantly vanished as the footsteps grew louder until they were right outside my door. I slumped on the ground as a thick crimson pool formed around me dampening my clothes and hair to red. The door was shoved down-as I coughed up my blood, fighting for a breath. Hands sat me up gently and hands were placed around my neck tightly, and an odd tingling sensation spread through my body instantly allowing me to recover.
