A Dark Pursuit Prequel, Questions and Answers

Hey guys! Since there were a few questions on a Dark Pursuit I decided to post them right here. But first, since Keir and Rose had a former relationship together, I didn't get the chance to explain how the OtherWorld works and what happened to them after their mother died. This may answer some of your questions that you have or have not posted.

So basically, as in chapter 3, I Keir explained how him and his brother's were Vampire Knights, the world's first "True Vampires". After the death of their mother, Istle was actually a good friend of their Mother and is their "guardian" I guess you could say. (This will be more clear later on in the story) So Istle separated the boys and each of the Elders took one of the boys into their homes.

Kier stayed in London, Gabriel went to France, Drake went to Spain and Eric/Theo went to Greece. They were all spread out so that their father couldn't capture them so easily.

When their father had in his possession, a dark and dangerous source (Will be revealed) the brothers, now older and wiser and more trained banned together and took shelter in the stone Mansion in London.

This is where Rose came in. Her parents were mortal and were killed in a tragic car "accident"(more on that topic soon) the hunters knew what she was even though Rose didn't know herself. So they came after her and was chased repeatedly. She stumbled into the OtherWorld one day while the hunters were making a portal to it. She attacked him and both went stumbling to Rose's new "home".

She ran about this new world to her hoping to ditch the hunters. But they kept managing to find her. Still she didn't know that the hunters were attracted to what was 'inside' her. So she ran to the mansion not knowing they were the home of four princes. And that's basically it.

Here's the answer to some questions.

Q: Will Keir Die?

Hahaha, I'm not saying anything about that, only this. TRUST ME! I know how I want this story to play out. Everything that happens is leading to bigger events and revelations. It happens for a reason.

Q: tam: Can u give more than one clue a more describing one?

A) Ummmm..... I think I should, I know what it's like to think about a clue over and over again and not been able to come up with the answer. But ok, here's one more. You can find it from the very first line which is.... "Once upon a time....." to "We were so happy back then..." It's in between those two lines. So at the beginning of the chapter, when Rose is reflecting back on the past.

Q: Kitty: This is awesome plz tell us another clue i want Kier to get back with rose and is Kurt evil?

A) See the second Question. Is Kurt evil? ALl will be revealed in the up coming chapters. Meaning: Soon!

Q : Tam : what happened to make rose leave kier?

A) I plan on revealing it in the Next chapter. Chapter 6 So don't worry. All questions will hopefully be answered in the next chapter. If a chapter is too long, then I usually will have to cut it down. For an example in chapter 5, I planed on showing what Rose did to Keir AFTER she a drop of "unholiness" was tasted on her tongue from the black grail. But unfortunately, It would have been too long to post it.

Q: Lacy.A : Hi.... .......something's been nagging me. In the beginning, when Rose is at Kier's mansion, the man said she had brown hair and dark eyes, but afterwards you said she had golden hair and blue eyes...
Just wondering about that or was I missing something?

A) So someone finally saw it! I was beginning to wonder if someone was going to pick that up. But no, you aren't 'missing' anything. If you've read all the chapters then you are fully informed. Their past relationship will be revealed in the next one or two chapters. (Depending on how long it is.)

Q: Amy: Could please hurry with dark seduction it was going interesting
does Liz and hot dude fall in love will she find out what is happening around her.

A) This story is put on hold for the moment. I know how I want it to end, but I haven't got it down on paper yet. But I most definitely do intend to continue it. (And soon)

I've got some questions about The Angel's Heart. I didn't think people liked it that much. So I stopped it, same with a Deadly Game. But I do intent to finish them, it's just not on my top priority list. A Dark Pursuit is.

For a Dark Pursuit, it is probably in the middle now. I think it will only take ABOUT 5 more chapters to complete the story. (Depending once again on how long it is) but after A Dark Pursuit is Finished, I will be writing Drake or Gabriel's Story. It is set in the OtherWorld. Same as A Dark Pursuit but will not be narrated by Rose's Point of View. And yes it is a romance. However, I am not 100% sure that I will write their story. I may finish A Dark Seduction First.

Title: I'm naming it, "A Love Unforgotten"

Prologue.

Just two words and I would be happy, just two words and my life would be complete.

He stood before me like a dark angel, devilishly handsome in his tux, and I standing in front of him wearing my wedding dress. He couldn’t see me through my veil but I could see him clearly.

"I do," he said.

The priest repeated the vows to me and that’s when I saw it. It wasn’t clear but I knew it was there, lurking in the shadows. I froze. We had thought it was over, We thought-I thought I was safe, we had never been so wrong…. We could never be together, they wouldn’t allow it, they wouldn’t stop until we were both dead. That’s when I knew what I had to do, no matter how hard it would be. If I loved him enough, I didn’t really have a choice.

I lifted my veil and he looked so surprised and his eyes instantly flashed with concern. I looked at him dead in the eye, knowing what I had to say, what I had to do.

"I’m sorry," I whispered, his face splayed a hundred emotions, some I recognized, hurt, confusion, worry…. "But it’s for the best. I can’t. I’m sorry," I repeated. Without looking back I bolted for the doors. My heavy dress trailing after me, people gasped and started to get out of their seats.

"Stop!" I froze, it wasn’t a request, it was an order, I hated when he did that. I slowly turned around stiffly.

"Why Grace, why? I thought, I thought….well, don’t you want this?" I nearly cried at the look on his face, so hurt so vulnerable. No! I wanted to scream, I’ll always want you more than anything, but don’t you see I ‘have’ to do this, there is no other way. But I wouldn’t tear him or me up any further, I looked stonily into his face.

"I’m so sorry, I have to it’s the only way…." Tears were gushing miserably down my face.

"What? Grace, what are you talking about? What’s wrong," he walked quickly towards me, I had to act quick, for as soon as he touched me, I knew I would be lost….

I bent my head down. I love you and I’m so sorry, I thought. I took one deep breath and looked him dead in the eye. "I just don’t love you anymore," with that I opened myself to the power. I felt the flames licking inside of me. The hem of my dress was engulfed with fire. When he knew what I was doing he ran toward me.

"No Grace don’t!" But it was too late. Completing the phase I grabbed the whole power and embraced it. I was engulfed by flames.

Goodbye…

A year later....

"Chief, don't do this. I am fully capable of handling this situation."

He smacked his hand down on the table, "Dammit Sparks. You aren't ready to go into this mission. It's too dangerous! You aren't trained enough. You could get hurt."

I scoffed at that, "Aren't you forgetting what I can do Chief? What other people can't? I didn't join this company to do child's work. I have a gift and I'm going to use it to catch the bad guys. Yes, I"m that nice."

"Nice you may be, but you still aren't prepared. While this organization values your "gift" that doesn't mean I'm going to toss you at every mission we get. I don't care if you can burst fire out of your finger tips, the situation remains, you need an experienced partner and that's final!"

The door opened behind me.

The Chief stopped his visible fuming at once, "Ah yes and here he is. Mr...Me - duck- ki?"

I snickered at the Chief's lack of talent of pronouncing names while he shot me a death glare. I twisted in my seat, trying to control my giggles.

"Actually, it's pronounced Me - du -si." said a deep male voice behind me. I detected the faintest Italian accent. I froze. I knew that voice.

Anthony.

"Ah yes, my apologies Mr. Meducci, did you get the file?"

"Yes Chief I got the file."

I sat stiffly in my chair. I felt him move behind me and place both of his hands on either side of my head on the chair. I stiffened even more.
The Chief's eyes flickered from me to him.

"Well then, I'll leave you two alone to get acquainted."

With that he left.

I swear you could have heard a pin drop in where I was sitting. Neither of us said a word.

"I uh....I have to go."

With that I sprinted for the door. Not before his hand lashed out to grab my upper arm. He turned me and slammed me up against the door. Not hard enough to hurt but enough to startle me. He pressed his body against mine and I struggled against him.

"What's the matter Grace? Are you so repulsed to the thought of working with me?" Anthony asked.

I went completely limp. It wasn't that, how could he ever think that? I...I loved him.

"Look at me Grace Sparks." he used his finger to lift up my chin.

I struggled for a moment but had to face him. I stifled a gasp. He looked the same as he had when...when we...

His face had slightly changed a bit. His jaw was more angular and hair was longer now. Not in a shaggy sort of way but his hair at the back stopped at the nape of his neck. A lock of brown hair fell in front of his eyes and I itched to smooth it back. I remember the day when I had hurt him, I had never seen his eyes so sad....

"Let go." I demanded. I couldn't get involved with him again. Not if I didn't want to see him hurt.

He stiffened and released me. My body cried out for his warmth but I held my ground.

"What are you doing here? WHY are you here?"

He looked away from me, "I see. You are not glad to see me. I had hoped we could-"

My cell phone rang. "What?" I snapped.

"Woooo, looks like someone's in a grumpy mood." I sighed, it was Fred, my partner before he quit to look after his family. But best friend
still.

"What is it Fred?"

"Me and my lovely wife here.." I heard a giggle on the other end. "Was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with us tonight. You know the kids love you."

"Tonight?" I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "Dinner with you? Umm.... ok what time?"

"7:00 and don't be late."

"Sure thing." I hung up.

Antonio cleared his throat. I looked back at him.

"So, you have found someone else... I guess I still expected you to be....I thought....I mean I still..." he fumbled for words.

I loved it when he stumbled. It was just so cute.

He shook his head, "It doesn't matter. So... his names Fred? How long have you...?" He trailed off.

I stiffened. He thought I was dating Fred. FRED! Fred was 4 years older than me and happily married now. One word. Ew.

"It's...It's not like that..." I struggled to explain.

He held up his hand, "No need, I shouldn't have asked its none of my business." Anthony looked so vulnerable. His blue eyes were just so sad and his mouth turned down. I loved him. I LOVED HIM! We should be together, I wanted to be with him, but.. but if I wanted to protect him. It was best this way.

It had been one year. One year since I had told him the biggest lie I had ever told, that I didn't love him anymore. I was eighteen then and was now nineteen. He was a year older than me, but.... I just wanted things to be different.

He straightened and held out his hand for me to shake, "I... I look forward to working with you Miss Sparks."

So, it was Miss Sparks now was it? I shook his hand but not before he grabbed it and pulled me against his chest, his mouth descending onto mine with aggression.

All to soon he stopped and let go of me so suddenly I stumbled. He opened the door and walked out. I stared after him.

Oh Anthony.....

If there's any grammatical errors, it's probably because I didn't edit it. Lol. So sorry. So that's the First chapter of that. Tell me what you think of that and A Dark Pursuit 5. Suggestions are welcomed and so are some more questions. I'd like to hear what you think Kier did to deceive Rose.
