A Christmas Wish

I wrote it. Lost it. Found it. Decided to publish it. Its about Christmas.
Flashing and glowing
Red and green lights
Pulsing and blinking
Through the winter night.
A Christmas Grinch here
A baby reindeer there
'Happy holidays' resounds
In the foggy air
A basket of fruit
Passed to a friend
A whispered hope
That Christmas never ends
A plate of cookies
A glass of milk
A decorated tree
Topped with an angel made of silk
A jolly, fat man
Flying in his sleigh
Yelling merry Christmas
As he slowly makes his way
Early to bed
And early to rise
Look under the tree
Surprise surprise
Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good night
Lets try this year
For the kids not to fight. : )
