A Case for Mineral Supplementation

Have you ever felt tired or groggy throughout the day and no amount of coffee or energy drink could fix it? What about being at work for a morning meeting and being unable to concentrate? Like most people, I too have struggled with fatigue, lack of energy, and difficult concentrating. At first, I thought I was simply lacking in sleep, but I knew shortly after some great naps that this was not the case. Eventually, I realized that my body was lacking in energy because it was also lacking in fuel. Oddly enough, food wasn’t really the culprit this time, but instead I was deficient in several important and essential minerals. These are the types of things that people take for granted, yet they are one of the easiest problems to examine and fix. In this article, I’d like to talk about some s symptoms of mineral deficiency and how you can fix it.

If you are struggling with concentration on small or minor tasks on a daily basis, then you could be deficient in a mineral like magnesium. You could also suffer from fatigue as a result of too little Vitamin B, which can occur from a lack of proper mineral supplementation. Another symptom of this condition is fatigue, which can result from anemia or iron deficiency. These two deficiencies alone are responsible for a large number of chronic cases of what I like to call "energy vacuum." In these cases, you’ll probably have the mental desire to accomplish a task, but physically you are unable to follow through. If you ever felt like it would be easier to just take another 20 minute nap than finish that nagging project, then this might be your problem.

Likewise, if you have a diet that is low in iron producing leafy greens, then you are at twice as much risk for this condition. Although it is possible to correct a lot of these maladies by improving your diet, sometimes diet alone isn’t enough. This is where supplementation comes into play. The problem with supplementation is that many people take vitamins to the point of insanity, but still never see any results. Part of the problem is that many people think a multivitamin is good enough when quite simply put, it isn’t at all. Many multivitamins don’t contain many minerals, if any at all, not to mention those that contain them usually have only trace amounts. This is certainly not enough to solve the energy or concentration problem of someone suffering from concentration issues or fatigue.

To fix these problems, you’ll need something stronger that actually releases minerals into the bloodstream. One of the best ways to do this is to find a liquid mineral supplement that you can take orally. This will ensure that it is released into the bloodstream, where it can do the work it needs to. Otherwise, you risk losing most of the nutrients in the digestive process. If you are suffering from some of these symptoms on a daily or even a weekly basis, then you should consider looking into a quality mineral supplement.
