A Best Friends Love {Chapter 10} Part 2

Alex's P.o.V

Mitchie shot out of the bathroom like a bat out of hell "ever slowdown" I yelled as she nearly ran into me, Riki came to the door and both her and Mitchie left a little after they left Greg came to the door asking if I would like to hang with him until Riki came back, I agreed and went to my room to get dressed. I threw on my black shirt my black shorts with a little bit of brown on the front and my black Nike's when I was finished we headed out we hit up several stores looking for something that Greg wouldn't tell what we were looking for, finally we came to a store and it seemed like we were in there forever but in reality we were only in there for close to 45 minutes and they say girls are picky. Greg got whatever it was he got and we left heading back to the hotel "Meet me in my room at 10:00 am tomorrow" Greg said as he took his bag down the hall to his room "Sure man" I yelled as I closed the door to my room.

Mitchie's P.o.V

I helped Riki out of her dress then headed back to my room, "I'm home" I called and I closed the door behind me, I heard a faintly ok from the spare room officially Alex's room I jumped on my bed thankful to let my aching legs rest I closed my eyes for a second not realizing it had actually been a couple of hours. "Michelle get your ass up or im pouring water over you" Alex said probable standing over me I tried to swat him away and somehow in the process I ended up pouring water on myself "well I'll see you later" Alex said slowly backing out of the room "I'm gonna get your ass Alex" I yelled as I hurried into the bathroom into the hall it really meant no sense considering I had a bathroom in my room I took a long shower when I was finished I got dress in a pair of shorts with a brown button up short sleeve shirt and my gold gladiators, I looked at my phone and saw it was 9:30 I grabbed a drink out the fridge and headed down the hall to Riki n Greg's room before leaving I yelled I was leaving to Alex.

When I got to Riki's room there was so much makeup and hair stuff I thought I had died an went to heaven, "Riki" I called looking in the living room for her "back here in the bedroom" she replied I walked back into her and Greg's room and saw Riki standing in the middle of the room in her bra n panties with curlers in her hand and a bag of em by her feet "Damn it Mitchie help me please" she asked trying to put rollers in the back of her hair "come here" I told her going to her bed I sat down on it she sat down on the floor in front of me and I took all her rollers out and instead I got her curling iron I had seen sitting in the living room, I gave her waterfall curls and put half in a ponytail and let the rest hang down next I did her makeup since her dress was black and white I put black eye shadow with a hint of white, after that was done I did her toes I gave her a French tip with black being the main color with a white tip and I did the opposite for her nails I put white for main color and black tip when we were finished with all of that it was 11 those two hours sped by.

"Put this on Mitch" Riki said after I helped her into her dress, the dress Riki handed me was pretty it was a black floor length bridesmaids dress with a white sash at the waist and it was strapless, after I was dressed Riki and I went out to the backyard type thing of the Hilton I had invited Brian so he was somewhere in the front but I'm not really sure the music started and I was about to walk out when I felt someone slip my arm through theirs I looked and saw that it was Alex we walked down the aisle together we were followed by 2 more bridesmaids and grooms men I was the maid of honor for Riki and Alex was Greg's best man, the wedding was absolutely perfect whatever the word perfect means and I was so happy for both of them, when it was time for the reception we all headed back into the Hilton where Greg had reserved the biggest Party room available, I found an empty table near the back of the room and chilled there for a few minutes before somehow Alex found me, "I'm sorry Mitch for the other night I didn't mean to make ya cry" he apologized scooting me over so we shared a chair I wasn't really working cuz the chair was small we gave up and sat in different chairs but still sitting next to each other "It's k babe every things good"

I said accepting his apology, we laughed for a bit and joked before we went up front to see Riki and Greg have their first dance, after about halfway through the song Alex pulled me out on the dance floor next to them and it was pretty fun once all that classical stuff was done and the hip-hop songs were on, Alex and I had made up a dance to New Boyz's song "Tie me down" when the song came on, we rocked it hard and everyone except Riki n Greg were amazed cuz we had showed them before, when we were finished we hugged and was making our way back to our table when Brian came up "Damn baby you was beasty out there" he said smiling I felt Alex tense slightly at my side "thanks but it was mostly my homie Alex" I said nudging Alex in the arm "you did good man" Brian told Alex who nodded in response, together we all headed back to our table, when the food arrived we ate in a somewhat weird and awkward silence, I decided it was time for the toasts so I went over to the Dj booth and had him turn off the music for a few minutes

"Hey everyone make your way to the dance floor" the Dj said through the microphone since Alex and I were really the only family that had attended the wedding we made the toasts, "First off I wanna say congrats to my brother Greg and my new sister Riki" I stopped and let everyone clap before I started again "Riki you are amazing and you know just what to say, you're like the only ray of sunshine when im having a cloudy day, and Greg your Greg im kidding your my big brother you have always been there for me even when you went off to college and the military our relationship wasn't like most brothers and sisters who fight I mean yea we fought but we were always there for each other and another thing you hurt Riki imma kick ya ass same for you Riki and lastly I love yall both and im happy for ya"

I said tears on the verge of spilling out, "love you too lil sis" Greg whispered in my ear as he gave me a hug, "thanks Mitch you're like the lil sister I never had" Riki said as she gave me a tight hug, next up to speak was Alex "Greg and Roquelle I hope yall have a long happy life and find comfort in each and I love yall" he said smiling at both of them he gave them both hugs then came over to me "How do you feel about being related?" I asked Alex as we headed back to our table "Riki and I aren't really related but our mothers were best friends so we grew up and we are basically cousins" he told me explaining, "oh" was all I managed to get out, we sat down in our seats not realizing that Brian wasn't sitting with us anymore "Still think we're going to the resort babe" I asked watching a few couples dancing or heading out to the dance floor "to be honest I don't think so" was all he replied before becoming silent.

Alex's P.o.V

After the wedding and the reception we headed back to our room I saw Brian pull Mitch aside before we left I heard them yelling in a calm voice which was a little scary cuz when Mitchie was calm and yelled all hell broke loose and obviously Brian didn't see it, "I walked over to where they were arguing and gently pulled on Mitchie's arm "come on Mitch let's go" I said once again gently pulling on her arm but she wouldn't budge, "Excuse me man but can't you see me and her talking" Brian asked angrily, "well if you haven't noticed smartass she's pissed off so I'm doing your ass a favor" I replied stepping in front of Mitchie and slightly blocking her with my body, "Man get you wanna be ass out here before I kick it" Brian said trying to step up to me "like hell you will" I replied I turned around and pulled on Mitch's arm to get her to leave I wanted to punch the lights out of the dude but I don't think she would have like her I was now completely blocking her with my body when the first blow hit I turned around and saw Brian trying to get in a second hit,

I punched him in the nose and then in the jaw I got 5 hits in when a few of the Male guests pulled me away from Brian, his face was bloodied and had my ring impression on his check whereas I had no marks at all maybe a scratch or two, I saw the newlyweds coming toward us I mouthed the words "sorry" to both Riki and Greg. I grabbed Mitchie and we went back up to our room once we were settled in I asked "why were you and that dirt bag fighting anyway" she moved a little bit and repositioned herself so she was in my arms but looking up at me "cuz he told me that I couldn't hang out or be friends with you anymore" I cut her off before she could say anything else "well what did you say" I asked impatiently "I told him your my best friend" she replied I had a feeling that there was more than what she was saying or telling me.
