A Beginning of a New Beginning (3)
Sorry guys, it's kinda short. Well...Kyle and Veronica go save Tim.
"I told him not to go!" I screamed running out. Kyle stopped me. "Maybe you should stay here, I’ll go check." I shook my head. "They're my parents and you guys are my friends. I’m not just going to sit down and wait for you guys to get hurt!" I squeaked. Kyle sighed then nodded. "Ok, hold on" he ran into the house and took out two guns. I looked at him shocked. "They’re not guns. Instead of bullets, they have these shots that make you sleep. It’s the same thing I shot at the lion." I nodded while he handed me one. "You only have four shots so use them wisely." He warned. I nodded once again.
We walked over to my house, trying not to make any noise. We both hid behind a tree before looking over at the house. It looked clear, so we walked up to a window and looked inside. Tim was sitting down on the floor, hand over his leg. My parents were looking down at him, saying stuff I couldn’t hear. When Tim removed his hand, I saw blood. He was shot! I looked over to Kyle, panicking. He stared at me for five seconds with his hand on my shoulder. Then he walked over to the tree that led to my room and started climbing. I followed.
We tiptoed down the stairs. We stopped when we heard my dad’s voice. "I warned you to just leave and never talk to my daughter again, that wasn’t so hard, and yet, you decide to talk back to me. You deserved to get shot in the leg. Now I’m going to tell you one more time, go back to your house, tell my daughter to come back home, and never talk to her again." When I heard this I wanted to burst out in tears. It wasn’t the first time I’ve heard my dad say it, and when he did, that’s when I would lose a friend. "No" I heard Tim say. My eyes widened. No? Tim is risking his life? What? "Then it’s time for you to go and meet death." My dad said in an evil voice. I couldn’t take it anymore. I ran down the rest of the stair and into the kitchen, where was the last time I saw them through the window. I had my gun faced in front of me and shot at my dad the first second I saw him. I missed the first four but the last shot to his leg. He glared at me for one second then fell to the floor. My mom growled and reached for the gun. My eyes widened, I had no more shots. She faced the gun at me, then a shot flew to her neck and she fell to the floor. I turned behind me and saw Kyle with his gun faced at my mom. I smiled thanks then ran to Tim.
"Oh my gosh! Are you ok? I’m so, so, so sorry! We don’t get to choose our parents. I never meant for this to happen! I shouldn’t have come to your house! I’m sorry! I warned you not to come though so this isn’t my entire fault. Oh who am I kidding? It was my fault! I’m so-" I screamed but was silenced when Tim started laughing. "You are quite a funny little girl aren’t you? I’m fine. It was not your fault. Stop blaming yourself." Tim said. "But-" "But nothing. Now call the doctor before I bleed to death." Kyle and I did as he said. Kyle called the doctor from our kitchen phone.
