Here are five dessert recipes that your family will love you for each time you make them. You might be amazed at how easy some of them are.

Sweetheart Fudge

Ingredients

1 cup melted margarine
1 cup Nestle Quick
1 cup peanut butter
3 cups powdered sugar
Nut, optional

Directions

Melt margarine in a small microwaveable container. Combine all ingredients in small bowl that is approximately 12 cups in capacity. Stir until smooth and creamy. Spread fudge in rectangle shaped container. The fudge will be easier to remove from container if you spray it with Pam first. Chill until fudge is set.

Sin-a-Bun

Ingredients

1 tube Pillsbury Country Biscuits (red label with 10 biscuits)
4 Tbs. butter or margarine
Brown sugar and cinnamon for topping

Directions

Remove 5 biscuits from tube and place on cutting board. Flatten each one with the palm of your hand. Next, brush with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.

Stack the biscuits on top of each other in a round microwaveable bowl. The Tupperware CrystalWave soup mug works well for this.

Cook in Microwave uncovered for 2 minutes and 15 seconds on medium power until done. Remove and invert onto a plate. Pour melted topping over bun and enjoy.

Topping is melted brown sugar and cinnamon.

Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients

1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese
¼ cup softened butter or margarine
1/3 cup sugar
1 ½ tsp vanilla
1 ½ cups melted milk chocolate chips (cooled)
1 carton frozen whipped topping
1 graham cracker crust

Directions

In medium size bowl beat cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add melted chocolate. Fold in whipped topping. Spoon onto crust. Cover and chill until serving time.

S’More Bars

Ingredients

1 cup quick cooking oats
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda
½ melted margarine or butter
2 cups miniature marshmallows
½ cup milk chocolate chips

Directions

In medium size bowl, combine first five ingredients; stir in butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 11 x 7 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows and chips. Bake 5 – 7 minutes longer or until marshmallows begin to brown. Cool; cut into squares.

Crunchy Chocolate Pudding Squares

Ingredients

2 cups self-raising flour
1 ½ cups finely chopped pecans
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup melted butter or margarine
1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
3 cups cold milk
1 pkg. Instant chocolate pudding mix

Directions

In medium size bowl, combine the flour, pecans, and brown sugar. Stir in butter. Press into un-greased 13 x 9 baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. In another mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in one cup whipped topping. Spread over crust. In another bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Spoon the pudding mixture over cream cheese layer. Refrigerator for 15 minutes or until set. Spread with remaining whipped topping. Garnish with heart sprinkles, if desired.
