'58 Chevy
Take it to the Junkyard
For those who don’t know
It is a ’58 Chevy
Two tone
Green over green
The owner is using
It as a planter
Grass and trees
Growing up through it
Once it hauled a family to church
Took the breadwinner to work
Drove the kids to get ice cream
Somehow someone forgot to care
And now it’s too late
To get it back on the road
Where it belongs
It probably would
Be happier in a junk yard
At least it would be among
Friends
