Save

I laid in the water, ready to escape.
But I didn't let that stop me from floating to the bottom.
But when I got there, I had no interest of swimming to the top.
I let my breath go, and push myself down while my body is freaking out.

The water is getting into my system.
I'm dying and I'm letting myself drown.
My screams are dimming, my breath is shortening.
All the sounds are disappearing, but it feels so good.

I waited but by the times my eyes were almost shut,
I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I was saved.
