Sunset
Nature Poem.
As the sun rides stately,
On the back of the clouds,
The wind drifts it far,
And it rests and perches in the sky,
High above the reach
Of all;
Within the grasp of the One in all.
The horizon compliments its environment.
Slowly, steadily
It dims it light.
Plays of light can be precariously perceived.
Silhouettes appear,
Shadows surface,
Intensity dissipates,
Tension evaporates.
Finally, the sun closes its eyes......
.......And sleeps in the east.
On the back of the clouds,
The wind drifts it far,
And it rests and perches in the sky,
High above the reach
Of all;
Within the grasp of the One in all.
The horizon compliments its environment.
Slowly, steadily
It dims it light.
Plays of light can be precariously perceived.
Silhouettes appear,
Shadows surface,
Intensity dissipates,
Tension evaporates.
Finally, the sun closes its eyes......
.......And sleeps in the east.
