One Time

A hopeless romantic's story.
Shuffling my all stars across the street
Dragging them on top of my baggy jeans
That's when I saw her, Staring at me
She look liked something off the tv
She carried around her violin
Playing for the people who cared to listen
I put all my change into the silk covered case
I saw her cute smile, but then shy looked away
She laughed to herself and laid her violin down
Extended her arm and we walked around town

She was the angel I was looking for
In her River Island skinny jeans
In her Grace Kelly shirt
She was the person of my dreams
Her long black hair past her shoulders
She may be a smoker but i want to change her
Images in my mind
And we only had coffee, one time.

She told me all her interests
Like her Playstation 3
Telling me that she played
Games from action to comedy
She said she loved Superman
So she has a man's tee
But she got it for a purpose
She didn't tell me
I told her I used to play guitar
And she seemed so impressed
She never got the hang of it
Then she straightened up her dress
We laughed and exchanged
Telecommunication codes
And I won't mess this up I hope

She was the angel I was looking for
In her River Island skinny jeans
In her Grace Kelly shirt
She was the person of my dreams
Her long black hair past her shoulders
She may be a smoker but I want to change her
Images in my mind
And we only had coffee, one time.
