Fallen Angel
Inspired by a drawing I once saw. Please comment.
An angel once fell from the sky
She then curled up and began to cry
I stood there as I saw her weep
Her sadness struck me very deep
I wanted to ask her what was wrong
I wanted to help her to be strong
Instead I watched the angel cry
I just stood there as time went by
Then she got up and left my sight
She took of into the endless night
And now I ask myself every day
Could I have helped her drive the tears away?
