The Darkness
No real thought to this really.
The darkness swirls around him
As black as the night
The fog encloses him
Filling his heart with fright
He reaches out for someone to hold
But all he feels is air.
He hopes, prays, and wishes
That there was someone there
His heart is beating faster
He fears it will burst
There is no cup of water
To take away his thirst
Love was torn to pieces
Put into a memory
The arms he aches for, are gone
All he sees is loneliness.
As black as the night
The fog encloses him
Filling his heart with fright
He reaches out for someone to hold
But all he feels is air.
He hopes, prays, and wishes
That there was someone there
His heart is beating faster
He fears it will burst
There is no cup of water
To take away his thirst
Love was torn to pieces
Put into a memory
The arms he aches for, are gone
All he sees is loneliness.
