True Love

It’s something a lot of us seek.
Life without it can seem bleak.

When it’s real you can feel it.
When it’s gone life seems unfit.

No other sensation comes close.
A connection I’d never oppose.

I will wait for it to envelop me.
Because only then will I be free.

I await that blessing from above.
