Sorry I don't have a title yet, I'll work on that next issue. For now I'm just calling it "John". As you probably guessed, it's a story about a teenager named John. And that's all I'm gonna give you. Read the rest to find out. Please comment, tell me what you think.
Chapter 1

"Ring"! The school bell rang, signaling the last period of school. John walked in the hallway with some of his friends to his most hated subject: Math. He was good at it, but it gave him headaches, and he just didn't like it. "Great, another period in Mrs. Gertrude", he thought sarcastically to himself. After school, he and his friend Ted would go out for ice cream and bowling after school, so John didn't mind much. Ted had a broken foot, so John wanted to do something special.

"Oh my goshhhhhhh, this class is sooooooo boring" John mumbled to himself, as he had to hold himself up with his other hand just to look awake. "Hey, John, wake up dude, Mrs. German-trudes passing out pop quizzes" Johns friend whispered from in front of him. Mrs. Gertrude was from Germany, so his friend Brad called her Mrs. German-trude. She handed John the test. He reluctantly flipped it over to find that the questions were just reviews from stuff he learned weeks ago. He breathed a sigh of relief. He easily finished the test way before anyone else, so he had extra time to play around with a piece of paper.

He first transformed it into a paper airplane, which looked perfect, but he couldn't fly it until the end of the period. He built a transformer with the other piece, and a shuriken. By that time most of the kid's were done, so he acted like he was throwing the shuriken at some of his friends. They pretended to be scared, and asked John to make them one of those. He made all of them one, and they had a miniature war while their teacher's back was turned. But one of his friends hit a girl in the eye; she said ow, and everyone sat down. Everyone but Marcus, who was cracking up because he was the one who threw the paper shuriken at her eye. "Mr. Little, go down to the principles office right this instant!" Mrs. Gertrude bellowed. And with that, everyone secretly smiled, trying to hold them inside.

After school ended, John and his friend Ted (the dude with the broken foot) went to Dairy Queen to have some ice cream. John ordered what he always did: A hamburger and a medium blizzard with m&m's in them. Ted ordered a small vanilla ice-cream cone. They talked about football, High School Football, College Football, and the NFL. His high school team, the Raiders, were undefeated. John was going to join, but his Foster parents didn't let him do anything. His parents had died in a car accident, and his foster parents were psycho's, always in the basement of their house. John slept in the end of the hall. John didn't like talking about his real parents, so no one ever brought it up around him. Every day though, he thought about them, and dreamed about them. He never knew who knocked them off the road, because the car drove away after. The police told him that it was probably a drunk driver who killed them, but John didn't think so. His mom's car was almost blown up, and the back was smashed. That meant that the drunk's engine would have stopped working, so he didn't think so. He never found out though.

After ice-cream, he and Ted went out to the Bowling Alley, where they played 5 games, one on one. John won the first round, but just barely. They tied in the second round with both have 158. In the 3rd round, Ted murdered John 230- 102. Ted also won round 4, but it was only 102 to 99. John tied up the streak with a 150- 137 win, and with that they ended the competition. It was about midnight when they left, and they had to walk home.

On their way to Ted's house, a police car pulled them over. "Hey kid's, what are you doing out here so late?" he asked them.
"We just got done bowling, and we're on our way home" John replied.
"Well, it's after 10:00 p.m, sorry boys; I'm going to have to take you in" the policeman said.

John argued with him for a good 5 minutes before proceeding to run away, leaving Ted there. But the policeman started running after John, as he had predicted, letting Ted make a clean get away, since he couldn't run with a broken foot. John was faster than the cop, and he knew the neighborhood very well. He cut through Ms. Torres' yard, and made it to his house. The slower cop had started to jog, because he wasn't used to running long distances like that. John, could run up to a mile sprinting, he found out, when trying out for cross-country. But when he asked his foster mom, she just said "No." John ran inside and locked the door, hoping the cop didn't see. He didn't, so John had made a spectacular escape from a cop. It was almost midnight when John got home, so he decided to go to bed. It was Friday, so he didn't have any homework. He went into his bedroom, shut the door, and went to sleep...
