I want to live my life
where I could walk in my shoes,
than have the world walk me through.

If you ask what's wrong with me
I will tell you, I want to be free.

Why can’t I be myself,
then you will see who I really am.

I want to wear my shirt loose,
so I won’t feel like a fool.

Do you mind if I wear pants,
or would a skirt define who I am.

I want to tell you about my life
are you interested, I think not.

Would you give me a job
if my posture was not right?

Would you judge me if I say
all the things that you don’t want to hear.

Don’t try to hold me trapped,
