Why Me - 2

Jamie opened her eyes and sat up. She was still in the hospital but Michelle had left. She signed and felt something in her hand. She opened it and saw the light blue crystal Josh had given her. She smiled then remembered that Michelle said that Josh was dead. She laid back down and sobbed until she felt a hand on her shoulder. ''Good morning sis'' Michelle whispered. She walked around and faced her. ''The doctor says most of your wounds healed and that you can come home today. Mom and dad are so glad that you can come home. They were worried out of their minds''. She reached into a black large and pulled out some clothes then handed it to her. ''Put these on and i will wait outside the room''. Jamie climbed out of the bed and walked into the bathroom. She put on the clothes and looked into the mirror. Her was tangled, her face was covered in tears and there was a long scar on her neck. That was stitched up and very noticeable. She held up the necklace and put it around her neck. It sparkled and it made her think of Josh. She smiled and walked out of the bathroom and out of the room. Michelle waited then smiled when she walked toward her. ''Ready'' she asked. She nodded and they left the hospital.

The ride home wasn't long it was 20 minutes to her house. Michelle stopped in front of a light beige two-story house. ''Home sweet home'' Jamie muttered. They got out of the car walked inside the house. Michelle closed the door and Jamie tried to hurry and run up the stairs. ''Jamie'' her father yelled ''Get in here''. Jamie rolled her eyes and walked down the stairs and into the living room. She plopped down on the couch and glared at her mother and father. He had both hands in his pockets his dark hair was gelled and his green eyes were full of rage. Her mother had both hands on her hips her short blond hair was in a bun and her green eyes had the same anger that showed in her father's eyes. ''What the hell is wrong with you Jamie'' her father yelled ''Not only did you wreck your mother's car. You left this house without permission''. ''And you also ran off with that boy Josh'' her mother added. ''Josh that boy was always a bad influence'' father grumbled. ''Don't talk about Josh'' Jamie said out loud. ''You watch your tone because you're in enough trouble as it is, and don't defend him''. Her mother scowled. ''Where is that boy I bet he would leave and let us handle his mess'' father said. Jamie lost her tempered and stood up ''Josh is dead and if you ever say anything else about him you will be sorry''.

She turned around and ran upstairs and locked the door. She jumped into bed and started crying. She remembered what Josh had said about the crystal. She held onto the crystal and thought about Josh. She closed her eyes and thought hard about him then opened them. She sat up and signed. She turned around then gasped he was in front of her. ''Josh'' she gasped. He smiled and pulled her body close to his ''In the flesh'' he murmured as his tongue went into her ear. She giggled then snapped back into reality josh was dead. She pulled away from him and stared. ''How are you here, your dead'' she panted. ''The crystal'' he said as he leaned back onto the bed. ''The crystal summons you to the person who gave it too''. ''So are you dead''. ''Technically no but I am a spirit''. ''A spirit?'' she asked in confusion. He motioned her to come lay down with him. She lay down on his chest. ''A spirit is a soul who hasn't passed on''. ''So why haven't you passed on''. ''Because I wasn't ready to die and that means if I would have passed on that every guy has a shot at you but you're mine and I'm here to stay''. She hugged him ''I'm glad you stayed''. ''So am I'' he whispered.

Michelle stood staring at her parents. ''Why the hell would you bring up josh''. ''Why didn't you tell us he was dead'' father asked. ''Because I didn't think you would bring him up and now Jamie hates you'' she walked away and left them alone.

''Will you always be with me'' Jamie asked. ''Of course ill be here for ever''. He kissed her hair and murmured ''I will kill anyone who tries to ruin that''.
