Why Me

Jamie's life has turned upside down.
Seventeen year old Jamie slowly sat up and looked around. She felt the soft, cool snow under her hands she signed then smiled. Her long dark brown hair blew in the cool and frosty wind.
''Jamie'' a soft dark voice called to her. She looked up and saw a man walking to her his dark black hair was covered in the snow he didn't wear a sweater. He wore an opened white shirt with long black plants. In the freezing cold his dark blue eyes showed warmth. ''Josh'' Jamie murmured as she stood up and faced him. His cold hands stroked her face as he leaned close to her ear and said ''You always had the cutest green eyes''. She wrapped her hands around his waist and put her head on his shoulder. ''I love you Jamie and that means I would never let anyone have you'' he growled and crushed her to him. ''I would never let anyone but you have me'' she whispered into his shoulder. She noticed they were standing in the middle of a snowing middle of nowhere, but she didn't care she had Josh and that's all she needed.

''Josh where are we'' she said as she looked into his eyes. He smiled ''We're in our world where nobody exist but you and me. So don't worry here nobody can hurt you''. He pulled her face to his and kissed her. She wrapped her hands in his hair and deepened the kiss. His tongue rolled in her mouth making the kiss hotter than ever. He pulled his mouth from her and smiled ''Nobody is ever going to take you away from me''. She hugged him an held his body close to her.

Nothing could ruin this moment she thought as she held him. She looked up and saw the sky getting darker and darker. The clear white snow turned into black drops of ash. ''Josh what's going on'' she panicked grabbing him. He looked around and growled ''Listen to me Jamie were going drift away for a while but'' he stopped and fumbled in his pocket. He pulled out a necklace with a light blue crystal that matched his eyes. ''As long as you have this crystal and you think about me real hard no matter what anybody says ill be with you because you are mine'' he grabbed her face and kissed her again. He pulled away from her then stepped back. She started to walk toward him until he began to fade away then he was gone.

''Josh'' she screamed as everything began to grow darker. She sunk to her knees and started to sob until someone screamed her name. ''Jamie wake up please'' the voice sobbed but it wasn't Josh's it was higher and a little whiny. She knew the voice was familiar but she couldn't think of the person's name. Everything grew dark and Jamie closed her eyes, wishing that everything would go away and Josh would come back. There was a loud sound then nothing.

There was a light it was bright but it wasn't the sun. It looked and shined like it was a hospital light. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was in a hospital and she was lying in a bed. She tried to move but winced then noticed there were gauges covering her face and body. She whimpered and tried to take them off but soft hands stopped her. ''Don't move'' ordered a voice. She looked up and smiled ''Hi Michelle'' she whispered then groaned.

Michelle smiled and wiped the tears away from her olive-green eyes, her short blond hair was in a ponytail. ''I was so scared little sister I thought you were dead'' she gasped and pulled a chair toward her bed. ''What happened Michelle and where's Josh''. Her eyes searched the room for Josh but he was nowhere in sight ''Where's josh'' she yelled at her sister.''Jamie you guys were in a car accident. You were badly injured and josh is dead'' she sobbed. ''What'' she gasped. She yanked at the gauges that held her. ''Stop it'' she yelled as she held Jamie down''. ''Nurse'' she screamed. ''Get off me he's not dead, he's not dead''. She pushed Michelle away from her and sat up. Three nurses rushed in and held her down ''This will make you feel better'' one said. ''Let me go'' she yelled as the needle sunk into her skin. She felt a wave of dizziness was over she fell back onto the pillow. She looked at her sister then murmured ''He's not dead''.
