A poem I wrote for English. haha.
Why does it take so long to say goodbye to you?
How can it hurt this bad
When you said you loved me too?
‘Cause I’ve been thinking lately,
And it’s time you know the truth.
I’m lost and lonely without you.
Remembering the pain and heartbreak
Only fuels the flames.
Seeing all the empty frames
Only stops the ache.
Cold nights and dark lights just distract the mind.
How do you expect me to live without you?
How can I forget all the magic?
How can I forget all the love?
How do I get over that fact that I’m lost and lonely without you?
