3 Men Sue Lindsay Lohan for False Imprisonment

The three men who were in the SUV Lindsay Lohan commandeered to chase down her former assistant have decided to file suit against the Mean Girls star.
The incident in question is old news at this point -- an eternity in celebrity years. It was all the way back in July 2007 when a coked up Lindsay Lohan jumped in a stranger’s SUV and chased her old assistant’s vehicle from a party they had both attended. After her assistant’s mother called police, she led Lindsay toward a local police station and she was eventually picked up by Santa Monica police. She was arrested at that time on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol while driving.

As a result of that arrest and another fairly memorable fender bender, Lindsay eventually pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine. She later repaid her debt to society with 84 minutes in jail, followed by her enrollment in an addiction recovery facility that seems, at this point, to have done the trick.

The three men who were already in the SUV that Lindsay ended up using to pursue her assistant are now filing suit against the Herbie Fully Loaded star. The men are claiming battery, false imprisonment and negligence on the part of Lohan and are apparently suing for approximately $25,000 in damages. An attorney providing legal advice for the plaintiffs said that he had hoped to avoid going to trial, but settlement talks stalled shortly after the incident.

The men have been identified as Ronnie Blake, Jakon Sutter and Dante Nigro, and any prior contact they may have had with Lohan leading up to the SUV chase is unclear at this time.

Lohan’s attorney, Ed McPherson, has referred to the suit as "absurd." It’s hard to argue with Ed at this point, considering that there were three men in a vehicle and we’re to believe that a drugged up Lindsay Lohan was able to "falsely imprison" them – and that they didn’t love every minute of it!
