3 Brilliant Ways to Boost Your Metabolism

Why is it that your skinny friend can eat what he or she wants and yet she stays skinny? Of course, when you eat the same stuff it just goes straight to the hips or other places. It's all in the metabolism and it can work for you too.
When lean people eat whatever they want there doesn't seem to be a problem but when you do it just ends up on the stomach, hips or thighs - unfair!By understanding the metabolism you discover that two people can eat identical foods, exercise the same but you'll see that one puts on weight and the other one doesn't.

Changing calories from food into the energy that fuels the body is "Metabolism".Fat is just stored calories that have not been changed. Each person is very different when it comes to the rate that the food is converted into energy. So, the people who don't gain weight when they eat a lot of food have more efficient bodies that change the calories into energy.

Don't worry though, not all is lost because there are ways you can increase your metabolism.By doing this more of the food we eat will be burned for energy rather than saved and converted into body fat. There are three simple ideas you can use to boost your metabolism.

1. Always eat breakfast.

Probably you've heard this many times before, but it is worth repeating. Now if you're trying to lose weight, then don't skip breakfast and it's such a shame that a lot of people do.Breakfast kick-starts your metabolism as well as providing the energy you need to get you through the busy part of the day without resorting to the convenience of junk food.

2. Try eating less but more often.

The body will slow down the metabolism if you go more than three hours without eating as it thinks food is scarce. The advice then is to try to eat about six times a day.Wow, it really is o.k. to snack! That's not to say you can eat foods like chips or soda, the six small meals should be mostly of lean meat, complex carbohydrates and green vegetables.

3. Fidgeting a Lot!

Remember those thin, high-metabolism folk, let's take another look at them.Where's all the extra energy going from all that food he/she is converting? Research suggests that fidgeting burns the extra energy and naturally thin people tend to fidget a lot. .Nearly all of the time they're not still even when they're sitting down.Try to copy them. Whenever you're sitting just jiggle your feet.
