24 Hours

Only if i could reduce the hours????
24 Hours
Twenty four hours belong to a day.
When boredom grips, this is what I say?!
Let few hours be robbed from the day!
I am on a search drive to find a way.
Hidden are few hours behind writing.
Also extended are my hours of sleeping.
Idiot box conceals a major chunk.
I am glued to it without a blink.
Dull and drab the day gets.
Sick and tired, I am at the end of wits.
Evening brings me to the dead end.
The long day emerges a victorious fiend.
This devil gets longer with boredom.
Shortening the hours is not an easy game.
I succumb to boredom’s pressure.
My depression is beyond measure.
Active life is the only boredom killer.
That alone can make me a winner.
I will be happy with the hours of the day.
Only if I keep busy in some healthy way.
