Rain

Free verse poem
Rain
The sense of a slice of nature
it trickles down like teardrops of joy
and it washes many of my pains away.
So warm is the rain in the sunshine
when all is sun and my skin is on fire.
For under the tropical sun
the heart is sickened
my blood is overrating in overheat
so the lucid drops are welcome
and when they trickle
and the rainbow forms in the trickle
of raindrops in the sunshine.
I love the ejaculation of thrill
that forms in my veins
just the thrill of rain falling.
