Allen Unveiled As New Cheltenham Manager
Cheltenham have appointed the former Brentford and Leicester boss Martin Allen as their new manager. Allen has been out of football since his short stint as Foxes boss in the early part of last season, but has now been appointed to replace Keith Downing, who left by mutual consent on Saturday.
The Robins are currently bottom of League One after a disappointing start, with Downing's final game ending in a 4-1 defeat Hartlepool on Friday night.
