Murray and Huber Into Flushing Meadows Final
Jamie Murray and Liezel Huber won their last four match in straight sets to set up a second grand slam final for the Scot
Jamie Murray will contest his second grand slam final after the Scot and American partner Liezel Huber beat Jill Craybas and Eric Butorac at the US Open last night. The pair had the upper hand in both sets as they claimed a 6-3, 6-4 semi-final victory over Murray's former men's doubles partner Butorac and his American partner.
Murray and Huber had gone out at the same stage on two previous occasions - at last year's US Open, and at Wimbledon this summer - while Murray won the mixed doubles title at Wimbledon in 2007 with Jelena Jankovic. He will doubtless aim to repeat the feat against fifth seeds Cara Black and Leander Paes in Thursday's final.
