Saha Becomes a Toffee After Passing Everton Medical
Louis Saha has signed a two-year deal with Everton after passing a medical over the weekend
Everton have confirmed the signing of the Manchester United striker Louis Saha for an undisclosed fee. Saha, 30, has signed a two-year deal with an option for a third year after passing a medical over the weekend.
Explaining his decision, Saha said: "I had a brief talk with the Everton manager [David Moyes]. He has been very honest with me, and explained the way he wants to use me. It went smoothly."
"I am fit again," he added. "I spent the whole pre-season with United without feeling any pain. I just need to play. That is what Alex Ferguson told me."
The Toffees have also revealed a move for Inter winger Victor Obinna has fallen through after an unsuccessful work permit application.
