Andy Murray is through to the third round of the Cincinnati Masters after beating America's Sam Querrey in straight sets
Andy Murray is through to the third round of the Cincinnati Masters after brushing aside America's Sam Querrey 7-6 (7-3), 6-1.

Murray started slowly, dropping his opening service game and quickly falling 3-0 behind, before recovering to take the first set after a tie-break, which he won 7-3. He then stormed into a 4-0 lead in the second set, and though he dropped serve in the fifth game, quickly bounced back to win the next two games and the match.

After receiving a bye in the first round, Murray can now look forward to a third-round tie against either Richard Gasquet or Dimitry Tursunov.
