Roy Keane may be looking to his native Republic of Ireland for Sunderland's first summer signing
Roy Keane's first summer signing could be the Cork City midfielder David Meyler. Sunderland's manager, who is from Cork, has watched Meyler on several recent occasions and this week submitted a bid. Although Cork are not entirely happy with Sunderland's valuation, the proposed transfer may be completed in the next few days.
