From The author of A Dark Seduction

Hi everyone again. I'm glad, people like A Dark Pursuit. But some of you think I should start a Dark Pursuit first instead of The Sleeping Beauty. And Hey, I'm totally fine with that, let me give you the 411 on them first, then you can help me decide.

The Sleeping Beauty:

Gabriel Thermore, a Prince of The Courts, has at long last found his beloved, Chloe Kostya. He finds her in an enchanted sleep, in the highest room in the tallest tower, that's gaurded by a fire breathing dragon, how's that for a cliche? He can't seem to take his eyes off her.

Chloe's family however is cursed. So that means she is too. An outlaw from the day she was born, makes her wanted in every country. She is tied to an evil warlord, and he makes her do his evil biddings for her, there's a serial killer on the loose, and guess who's the next target? Chloe!

There are darklings that want to use her for their evil purposes, for she has a gift, no one could even comprehend.

Chloe is supposedly Gabriel's beloved(aka one true love) after all you, only get one in your life! So Gabriel won't let Chloe slip from his grasp, even if it was the most dangerous thing to do.

Here's chapter 1 of The Sleeping Beauty.

He had found her, he had finally found her, after all that waiting, after all of that searching, he had found her. She would save his family. He was still breathing heavily from slaying the dragon. He looked onto that angelic face.... All it would take was a kiss...

A lowered his head down to her.

"My lord, are you sure? She may be uncontrollable, she is after all a Kostya,"

"No matter which bloodline, or family she is from, she will help us."

He lowered his head down and gently pressed his lips to hers. At once, her eyes flew open.

My eyes snapped opened. A sharp burning in my throat. I was surprised that a brown head man, still had his lips on mine. I mean, this was one hell of a way to wake up.

I shoved him away wiping my mouth.

"Ah, so I see you're awake,"

"Who the hell are you?" I demanded. He was terribly good looking.

"I," he knelt down, "am your knight, here to rescue you, and here to ask for your help."

At that I had to crack up laughing. I was giggling like an idiot. But I couldn't help it, it was just so....old fashioned. I mean come on, no-one spoke like that anymore.

His eyes narrowed, "is there some sort of jest I'm missing?"

Of course when he said that, that only brought a whole new round of giggles. I mean he couldn't expect me to believe that right? Right?

Just then, the wall exploded and i was knocked into the back wall. Stinging pain covered my arm. My uh.... "saviour," came and helped me.

I looked up and saw a.....dragon. Wait this could not be happening right? I mean the world doesn't have dragons nowadays, this was like out of some myth book.

I felt it, an energy source, it was huge. I grabbed onto it with my mind, but as soon as I did, I released something, some force that I had. The dragon moaned and crushed down onto the ground below us.

Before I knew it I was in his arms, he was......he was hugging me! I pushed him back with narrowed eyes. I didn't care how cute he was. I wasn't going to be some stranger's hug-toy.

"Who are you?" I asked.

He grinned, "I, am Prince Gabriel of The Courts, and you my sweet, are my beloved. Oh thank the heavens. I thought that I'd never find you,"

He then lowered his head to mine, to kiss me, and I tell you, it was no angel kissing me. What had I gotten myself into? Didn't he know who I was? What I was?......

Okay so that's The sleeping beauty, and sure you may not think it's as good as a dark pursuit, but hey, I don't mind you guys picking for me.

And here's a Dark Pursuit.

Kier Plyter, a dangerous, but devilishly handsome vampire knight is pursuing feisty attractive, Rose. He's also a member of the court, and one of their leaders. He's lost her once, but won't make the same mistake again. Keir's determined to win her back, and will go to the darkest corners of the earth if he has to in order to have her.

Rose Mcgaw, wants Keir as much as Keir wants her. But she isn't ready to go through that again. She doesn't want the insecurity or the heart-ache. He broke her heart once, and she doesn't intend to let it happen again. But in their midst, a dangerous traitor lurks, and on top of that, someone is trying to kill Rose. Luckily, she'll always have her vampire with her....

Though she tries to not give into her vampire's sweet voice, Keir doesn't give up that easily. Will these two be able to re-new their love despite what happened 2 years ago, while battling a dark force(as always).

A Dark Pursuit, Chapter 1

I pulled outside my school and locked my car. I sighed, It had been along time ago, but yet I still had a part of me that I thought was missing.

I entered the classroom. All the girls were crowded around the window.

"Omigosh, he's like sooooo hot!" one girl cooed.
The other girls gushed and agreed.

"What's going on?" I asked.

They turned towards me.

"Major hottie at nine o'clock"

I narrowed my eyes and went towards the window.

I froze. It couldn't be him, it was impossible. My breathing quickened, he looked as handsome as the first day I saw him. What was he doing here? Surely he wasn't here for....

And at that exact moment, as if he read my mind, his face turned towards me. The girls spluttered. He flashed a smile at me and beckoned me to him.

Everyone stared at me.

"Could he mean you?"

Jealousy was seeping from every girl in the room. I didn't answer only hurried out side. As I approached, he climbed out of his red convertible and leaned against it. All attitude. He was wearing a long sleeved black shirt and black jeans. Go figure.

His hazel eyes pierced me, as if he was seeing right through my very soul.

I stopped a few meters away from him. "What do you want?"

He raised an eye brow. God, he was so beautiful."Is that all I get after all these years. I must say I pictured this moment much differently, you rushing forward to greet me, throwing yourself in my arms, me being able to smell your hair...."

I shivered. His voice did strange things to me. Before I knew it he used his inhuman speed to stop inches away from me. I looked up, he was so tall. I was held under his trance. I felt as though I was giving in.... giving in....... to what I wanted.

I felt his breath against my neck. He leaned down and whispered in my ear, "Why did you run from me sweetling? Don't you want me anymore?"

I breathed heavily, something wasn't right. I could give in, that was the easiest thing to do, but underneath, there was heart-ache, insecurity.... I wouldn't be put through that again....

With all my will, I placed both hands on his chest and shoved him away. Instantly, his face changed, his eyes narrowed. "Stay away from me Keir, i don't want anything to do with you,"

I turned to walk back to school, "Are you happy? You've won I've come to you. I won't let you go so easily this time. In fact, I won't let you go at all. Return to my side where you belong,"

I whipped around, almost colliding with his chest, "Oh, you are so arrogant and chauvinistic. I won't be put through any of that. Do I have to repeat myself? I don't want anything to do with you!!,"

"But you will, It's only a matter of time," he added more softly, "Forgive me already, I did what I had to do in order-"

"Stop already!" I had just about enough listening to his "sorry" speech again, "I know okay, you've told me a hundred times, and I get it,"

"That's the point," his eyes burning emotion, "You don't get it, you don't understand what I had-"

"Shut-up Keir! I don't want you!" my eyes were brimming with tears, I wanted to take it all back, but i wouldn't back down that easily.

He flinched. I looked at his face, oh God I had really hurt him this time.

"Do you really think I'll let you go? I'll keep coming back, stronger and stronger each time, until you'll except me. I will never let you go, never. Even if my life depended on it. Come and find me when you're ready to know the truth, you'll need me, and soon!" he shouted, and so softly I wasn't even sure I had heard it, "Come back to me, I need you..."

I kept on walking.

I need you.....

As for A Dark Seduction, STILL MORE TO COME! Will be releasing 5th chapter soon. The Angel's Heart, will be put on hold for a while, it isn't one of my 'serious' series. As to how I got my idea, well, I actually DID NOT get it from Zorro. I actually (believe it or not) got my idea to write it from CSI New York. Hahaha. They were examining a samurai sword. Don't aask me how it popped into my head, because I myself don't know.
